💫MEET THE ARTIST 2026💫 It’s my birthday!!! So you know what that means!! Posting this actually on time this year by my self prescribed schedule. Though with this birthday, there’s a lot in store for me within this year. I’m currently within my LAST SEMESTER OF COLLEGE which is INSANE! And my style has shifted a lot since last year but I’ve gotten really proud of my work with this improvement. I had a good time making this, and I think the hardest part of this was figuring out what outfit I wanted to put myself in, but the one shown is just my favorite go to one! (In the ideal weather of which I’m not cold). Anyways, happy new year, happy birthday to me and here’s to change!!! Eat a meal today, drink some water and I love you. by @indigo.orbit

🍬🍰ORIGINAL CHARACTER CAFE COLLAB🍨🍬 A collab hosted by the lovely @neighborhood_dirt_lord , we were tasked with creating a menu item and a piece of merch! This was a TON of fun to be a part of, and my first big collab! The OC I chose to draw was my beautiful Ophelia Fawn! A fairy who lost her wings. She is very much Puerto Rican inspired (because all my favorite ocs gotta be Latine), and her treat of choice is a Flancocho! It was very nice to finish a piece like this, and also drawing food is way more relaxing than I anticipated. On the last slide is a mockup of the Ophelia Keychain (thank you Vograce). Would you be interested in one? If you got this far, drop your favorite treats to get at a cafe in the comments (and maybe buy one for yourself. You deserve a sweet treat) Finally, the last few people who couldn’t be tagged on the slides are @lunannex_ @kay_kamu @_rin.9487_ @emnide @itstheasteroid @zenshyns @zuppaox #OCcafecollab #flancocho #puertoricanartist #digitalillustration #cafemerch by @indigo.orbit

🎨ARTFIGHT 2026🤺 This year of artfight was particularly special to me. It was the first year where I actually was proud of my artsyle. After graduation, I feel I’ve become more confident and have learned to have fun with my style again, which is really all I could ask for. And so, without further waiting, let me introduce you to the characters I drew for TEAM COMEDY 🎭 Slide 1: Sutton and Juni belonging to @auxtiii Slide 2: Alex, belonging to @/luvioooo on artfight Slide 3: Hariko belonging to @slowshobro Slide 4: Eve belonging to @_kaila_mai_ Slide 5: Daedrix Altvir belonging to @/Raeshy715 on artfight! Slide 6: Yvonne, belonging to @_wicked_world_0 I had an absolute blast drawing all your characters, and I have grown emotionally attached to each and every one of them. If you read this far, feel free to infodump in the comments or to me anytime because genuinely I am OBSESSED and would love ANY CONTENT I CAN GET‼️‼️ Anyways I love artfight, I hope everyone had a fun month!! #artfight2026 #teamcomedy #teamcomedyartfight #puertoricanartist #digitalpaintings by @indigo.orbit

💫🧦SOCKMORE🧦💫 Every year, twice a year, one of my friend groups hosts a secret Santa. This year, I had the joy of getting @rapand_beanie and drew her OC Sockmore, a silly little sock guy!! The theme this year was taking inspiration from our favorite album covers, and so at the end, you can see the inspiration! I had an absolute blast drawing him, and EVERYONE should hype up my bestie Amethyst for designing such whimsical characters. #oc #digitalillustration #puertoricanartist #sockpuppet #louiezong by @indigo.orbit

🪄MAGIC AND CANDLES🪄 This is my baby Mary-Agnes Shelly-Nettles. She’s a part of a Candela Obscura campaign hosted by @freyrring my beloved. A pre teen magician who snuck her way onto a team to hunt dangerous supernatural phenomena in order to figure out what happened to her missing parents and why they stopped coming home. She is full of joy, magic and pride, and somehow makes the CRAZIEST plans that work in the end. 🦋THE GLOW OF OPHELIA🦋 Omg guess who my favorite oc is…. HAPPY PRIDE and PUERTO RICO MONTH!! I’m still posting my backlog of content, so eventually we’ll get to new things, but until then, More Ophelia <3 A portrait study I ended up making into my OC again, and I’m absolutely in love with this one. It just feels so magical and sparkly (and is also very purple, so I’m super bias) but anyways, I won’t ramble for too long. I’ve talked about Ophelia before and this won’t be the last time you see her, but some fun information about Ophelia during pride month: she leaves her sexuality as unlabeled! Ophelia doesn’t like titles or labels, she feels it adds too much pressure to herself, and after a life of learning what it means to be free, she learned labels are the least of her concerns. Ophelia I love you you are everything to me #digitalillustration #puertoricanartist #portrait #fairy #happypridemonth🌈 by @indigo.orbit

🎤VIVID BAD SQUAD🎧 Slowly aiming to catch up on my backlog of posts, but have some fanart as I organize myself! From the hit game Hatsune Miku Colorful Stage, I present my interpretation of Vivid Bad Squad! Now, this piece took me forever. I started this last summer before returning to college wishing to apply to a zine. But, as life had it, I abandoned it. Going through an art style crisis, while also having the stress of senior year of college. This year, I feel I’ve reached a point in my art style where I’ve reached absolute freedom. I’m able to have a strategy I’m confident in, and am able to have fun with again. So, after a grueling year, I picked this piece up again and finished it as well as I wanted to! For me, this piece was me learning how to have fun again! So, here it is :3 #vividbadsquad #pjsk #puertoricanart #projectsekai #hatsunemikucolorfulstage by @indigo.orbit

✨Fantasy and Folktales: Representation Matters🧚🏽‍♀️ As you may have known, Thursday, April 16 was the opening night of @moorecollegeart ‘s Senior Show, which I was a part of!! I LOVE fantasy. It’s my favorite genre ever. But! It hasn’t always been the most inclusive. So, I made that the whole goal of my thesis! Illustrating posters with the inclusion of minority voices, starting from well known stories to lesser known Folktales (which were the ones I had the most fun illustrating). All of my work is 100% human made. No AI needed. All done on the procreate app. From ideation, the research and final product, it was all my very original brain! Thank you to everyone who resonated with my work!! And everyone who stopped by to say hello! My peers and I worked SO HARD for this moment, and I know I was extremely happy to share this moment with everyone! Highlight posts for my thesis will be coming soon, including timelapses, so keep an eye out for that! And stick around for what we get up to next 💞 @illustrationatmoore #moorecollegeofartanddesign #seniorshowcase2026 #fantasyillustrations #representationmatters #puertoricanartist🇵🇷 by @indigo.orbit

🦋OPHELIA🦋 So, for a bit of whimsy and portraiture practice, I drew my favorite child. I feel like I do so many zoomed out pieces, so it was nice to change the pace of my work and just focus on a closeup. If you don’t know Ophelia, she is a wingless fairy. Someone who has gone through a lot in such a short amount of time in her life. Her story revolves around gaining independence and bravery in a world that aims to objectify and conquer her just for her fae lineage. It dives into the theme of what is freedom? And what is home? Anyways I adore her. She is everything to me. #fantasyillustration #fairy #portrait #procreate #puertorican by @indigo.orbit

💫 Aimed for the Moons, Fell amongst the stars💫 YOU! Yes YOU! Do you like this design??? Do you like free things?? Do you like supporting Brown Queer Artist? Well clear your calendars for APRIL 16th!! For you can get this art design on a postcard at MY SENIOR SHOW at MOORE COLLEGE OF ART AND DESIGN! More information will be coming soon, but if you can’t wait for details, feel free to DM me! Anyways shameless plug over, now I get to ramble. The title of this post I was trying to be kinda more process oriented. The original background for this postcard (which I worked on for longer than the one that I decided to go with) was basically the character floating amongst a bunch of moons and planets…. But it ended up looking too busy and frustrating me. So I scrapped it for something simpler and more visually interesting. Just goes to show not everything goes to plan and that’s okay! I’m very happy with this anyways :DD #puertorican #fantasyillustration #space #stars procreate (five hashtag limit you wound by @indigo.orbit

💫CATCH UP POST💫 I sat here all February wondering what I should post… so, instead of a normal art dump, we get my business card illustration and SENIOR SHOW TEASERS!!! For my first design, I had a LOT of fun with it. I wanted to make an illustration that felt so very unapologetically me, and this was it! I am a very sleepy very purple loving person, who just LOVES whimsical and space vibes, and I had a great time designing this (even though I went though a MILLION ideas, as seen in the timelapse (I’m so indecisive all the time with projects like this <\3). Another one within this vibe is being created as we speak (which may or may not also be accessible during my alluded to Senior Show). As for my senior thesis, I’m illustrating posters for fairytales, but putting in the inclusivity I wish to see. Growing up, I didn’t see a lot of fairytale or fantasy art of ANY person of color, so, this is me being the change I wish to see! I’m saving the full reveals for closer to my show date, but here are some teasers to prove I’ve been working hard. Anyways, this is my February update!! I hope everyone is doing well! If you got this far, what’s your favorite fairytale? #fantasyart #puertorican #digitalillustrations #seniorthesis #moon (I remembered my hashtags this time) by @indigo.orbit
