Indigo was one of the first spots I tried when I moved back home in December for matcha, and it really always be in the rotation! I love supporting any Black owned business, and this Strawberry lemon pound cake was indeed delicious!

Grateful for everyone who showed up and supported me for the second Move Ya Body & Matcha event! I’m going to be completely honest & vulnerable, I almost canceled it due to the static ticket sales at first 🫣
•
But then I forgot most people usually buy tickets closer to the event, so I put my anxiety to the side and decided to just do one class, delegate some of the tasks I did by myself last time and fully enjoy myself! And it was great!
•
Shoutout to Reba, Tiffany and the staff at Indigo for allowing me to host! As well as Ty, @tyinspired for being a great instructor! DJ Kor, @curatedbykor , set the vibes for sure! And Bryant (@shotbylindsay) & Bee (@_beethevibe ) helped me to capture the evening! Also Ty (@partygirlandcompany ) killed the balloons, and my girl Kendra (@bbccharcuterie ) had the cutest charcuterie cups! Love yall down!

Hey y’all! So I had the pleasure of being a model for Indigo Tea & Coffee during a photoshoot the owner, Reba, had with Ariel!
•
Here is some BTS footage of the barista making some of the new drinks on the menu for this month! I obviously had the Guayaba Velvet Matcha, but I also tried the PBJ Time latte and it was bomb!
•
Make sure to go support this Black & Woman owned business!

In honor of Black History Month, I put together a small, non-comprehensive list of some of my favorite Black-owned shops in Charlotte!

I definitely missed a few, so let me know which ones I should review this month in the comments.

Solo coffee.
Quiet corners.
Admin tasks + creative downloads. ☕️🖤

Romanticizing the discipline it takes to build the life I want — one coffee date with myself at a time.
@indigo4thward days hit different.

Not sure if you know but @indigo4thward also has a new and FUN cocktail menu .
This is not a coffee shop.
It’s a place you come when the conversation matters and the menu has range.

Coffee when you need it.
Cocktails when the day shifts.
All rooted in intention.

Indigo Coffee is Black woman owned, layered, and very much doing its own thing.
Uptown Charlotte needed this.

Save this for later family 🫶🏽😉 taken in Charlotte, North Carolina by @indigo4thward
