Out of fear, I didn’t drop this right away but the thing about taking risks with your music is putting yourself out there. So y’all enjoy my very rough draft of a working song I have called, “24 Hours”.
.
.
.
Verse 1
Woke up wrong, don’t ask me why
Phone keep on ringing, let it die
Everybody got advice
Ain’t nobody paying my price
Neighbor smiling way too hard
Coworker talking in my car
Cashier asking “how’s your day?”
Girl, don’t make me run away

Refrain:
 Don’t touch me
 Don’t hug me
Don’t tell me it’ll be okay
 I need twenty-four hours
To be mad and walk away

Chorus
 Leave me alone today
 Got nothing nice to say
If you love me, back it up
Give me forty feet of space

YEAR OF 32 — EP. 01 🎬💜

Going to a concert alone was already outside my comfort zone… somehow seeing Isaiah Rashad on the It’s Been Awful Tour ended with me meeting THEE @isaiahrashad. 😭

I’ve been listening to Zay since 2016, so getting to experience his music live AND meet him afterward? Yeah… still processing that one. 🥹 Thank you for being so kind.

(Sidebar: The Sun’s Tirade turns 10 TODAY?! 🥹☀️ Time is flyingggg.)

And @alemedaaaa?! I came for Isaiah and left with a new artist in rotation. You DID that. 🫶🏾

As an artist myself, nights like this remind me why I fell in love with music in the first place. Inspiration recognizes inspiration. 💜

First solo concert. New music discovered. Core memory unlocked.

Year of 32… because why not? ✨

special s/o to @one.frequency.philly for creating space for local artists to share their gifts ✨
this past open mic was such a beautiful vibe. meeting so many talented artists, hearing everyone’s stories/sounds, and just being in community again reminded me why i love music so much.

also… y’all caught my manager working HARD for those angles? 😂🎥
