something really beautiful happens when we create together. worlds collide. waters meet. we enter the art of relationship. something we couldn’t make alone suddenly becomes possible. the picture gets fuller, deeper, wiser. the mirror gets held up. giving becomes receiving. alone becomes together. texture gets found. the topography of feeling suddenly gets a face. a story finds its illustration. gifted a whole new sense. that solitude could never see.

the merging of different languages. of love & of listening. of i & of you. the birthing of we & the kinship of response-ability.

i am reminded how co-creation is innate. inescapable. remembering that we’re all creating something. there is offspring to every moment…

Blessings of the wind & sky.
Blessings of the sea & waves.
Blessings of the land beneath.
Blessings of breadth accompanying the deep.

Blessings of neutrality.
Blessings of security.
Blessings of soul family.
Blessings of the trees.
Blessings of known artistry.

Blessings upon blessings.

And a heart realised ~
As big enough to receive them.

Soaking in the tincture of unbridled joy & enduring rainbows. Amplifying ascension through the flames of long-lust poetry. Every human, creature, colour, star, song, meal, & moment — alive in the precision of truth’s improvisation. Inescapable. Deep peace. A constellation of giving & givens.

May love be the wind upon which we continue to sail.

‘A Water Affair’ - OUT NOW

Today is the day!!!

The labour of my love draws breath from sources other than my own. The words of my heart get to water yours. Another artefact of our shared humanity gets born.

This story becomes available to you.
And by you, I mean the world.
And to me, that means the world.

May this be an invitation for continued creation
& the following of our intuitive waters
that know more than our audacity ever could.

Exactly one year ago today!

Wow. The choices we make really do become the foundation we get to walk upon.

This version of me inspires me so much & in so many ways. The courage. The trust. The realness. The rawness.

Was my first time on the mic at an open mic night, sharing my truth, after months of speechlessness.

And no, it did not go to plan.
And yes, I did have a vulnerability hangover.
But I would not (even for a second) change a single thing.

So here it is, as it was.
May you be, as you are.

& we — our own honourable act to follow 🤝🏼

It’s been a wild time.
And what better place to greet it
than in the wild-wild.

The atlas of my heart sits on my bed head.
Dreams of the night—here and away.
Lying awake—riding the waves.

What lives behind closed eyes wants to see the light.
The colour of the mind—the number after sky.

I took the day off to feel turned on again.
And of course—went outside.

Found the truest of hues:
For now I’ll name ‘true blue’.

Father sun, and mother moon.
Further love, and martyrdom.

The un-lacking light, and the eloping tide.

Telling me control is the daughter of placebo.

That truth is never too much or never not enough.

A door we get to walk through.
Adoring me, adorning you.
A daring to know, as much as we do (yet don’t).

one last walk around the garden. generosities un-pronounced. loving things for what they are & not what they could be. conversations with the shoreline. calling on our rescue divers. lessons in friendship. anchorage. platonic intimacy. conglomerations of awe, love, & inspiration. council. connection. repair. spending time with people who know how to tend to my inquisition & dive into the curiosities of their own. coexisting in silence & learning local language. emergencies substituted by emergences. sensory seeking. indulgence. excitement to meet the you and the me on the other side of the something. intellectual stimulation. easy goodbyes. adventure. horizons. low-vis / no-worries. eureka. naps. dialogue. first drafts. simplicity. mesmerism. abalone.

this year has taught my body that descending is the early verb of ascent. and i can see now how it makes joy taste even better—like rapture on my tongue. i am coming home. to ecosystems of sustenance that sustain me. retired overextension, bequeathed by clarity’s surface. depths of regenerativity i invested in months ago. this is what dreams are made of: in the calibre of indigo.

i wake. i write. i water. & the days feel abundant. this season: important. glistening with gravity & delectable discernment.

it’s actually pretty simple.

gratitude is a bottomless well i think we should all fall into. & so thank you — to the people, the places, and the experiences that have made those possible. the ones i get to call home.
