27 years later, the sounds of an almost 27 year-old are surfacing soon from their deep unhurried sleep. Produced by @burrnjay and myself and starring the two of us and some killer songs as well as Bob Hamilton, Lonnie Powell, Nathan Tinkham, Cory Chuinard, a case of red wine, 5 cartons of Player’s Light, a 3 year old boy named Ian, and a 1983 Honda Accord. Stay tuned friends. It’s first going out to the people who took the time to help me out on the new release SEA this month by purchasing downloads they probably don’t even know how to download anymore knowing full well I need it to keep these wheels turning and then soon after, the Spotifack nation from there. Big Love and Happy Thanksgiving. Keep It Real. Remember the light of thanks. #indiosaravanja1999thewhitehorsesessions #folkrockguitartroubadour by @indiosaravanja

Indio Saravanja SEA - The Songs Of Pablo Grinjot is now out on Bandcamp. Tomorrow is Bandcamp Friday. Thank you for supporting the recording of music friends. It doesn’t grow on seas. Only the songs do. (#bandcampfriday #indiosaravanjasea by @indiosaravanja

Things I miss today and always. The sound of her happy voice when she was smaller. The sound of the road. The wheels on the road. The sound of the Cummins X15 diesel in a Kenworth W900 Classic with an 18 under my right hand on the road. The Okanagan breeze running through ponderosa pine. The sound of summer. All in the songs. More to come. If it be your will Lord. #truckin #fatherdaughterlove❤️ #kenworthw900 #songwriterlife by @indiosaravanja

In response to finding out that some of ‘my’ work was stolen recently and fed into some kind of plagiarism machine and the growing amount of bad/dumb news around this AI nonsense in the so-called ‘arts’ or by so-called ‘songwriters’ even in the Nashville ‘scene’ (and many others now) yeah, you bug me, but I mean, hey, it’s your life, not mine. I’ve got too much to say about all that but it’s all been kind of over for a long time anyway now, so why not grab onto something real while you can, friend? Like everything else that means anything, and vice versa, songwriting is hard work and there aren’t any shortcuts. And why would you want them? There’s a powerful magic and mystery waiting for your courage under the hood like a wild animal you’ll never tame and you don’t know what you’re fn doing but you press on and on and keep God in the engine room and the horse power will come through eventually if you’re worthy and it’s meant to. You’re going to smash your hands and break skin and come out dirty every time and anyone that thinks otherwise is likely a thief, jerk off, or charlatan vampire, and we’ve got a lot of all three out there looking like they run the show lately but in this garbage age of artificial everything, I salute the mechanics, carpenters, welders, homemakers, chefs, farmers, bakers, painters, road builders, teachers, truckers, writers, … ah, but it’s a very long list of irreplaceable people we have to hang onto now. These are the true warriors and guardians of the light. To anyone gleefully going the other way right now at our great expense and peril, good luck and don’t worry, we’re not going anywhere anytime soon. Your mediocrity, greed, and ignorance might just eventually blow the fn wheels off our whole collective bus here one of these days but the road will never die. We built it together and we didn’t do it alone. Trust me amigo, one of these nights we’re going to be face to face and eye to eye around a fire again and we’ll find out what kind of soul you worked on while you were here and what your song was all about. I’ll gladly pass you my guitar. #inresponsetoevil #songwriter #thieves #webuiltthiscity #godhelpusall by @indiosaravanja

Good times with my angels way back in ‘25 being the best Joker Dad I can be, ‘cause there’s nothing finer, but if only she knew I wasn’t kidding! 35 years of record making or attempts at it and not one rock video was ever made (too shy, too broke, not a video fan) for this guy that once told Cyndi Lauper that YouTube wouldn’t last more than a year or two and was nothing but a loser deal. She was sweetly lecturing him on his talent, lungs, and liver, and predicting Tik Tok and sobriety fun 20 years before it happened. True story. Thank you Cyndi. It’s all coming out in my book soon. Go to my website and buy my record right now and I’ll tell you all about it next time I see you at the sand pits and we crack a few club sodas. For those of you who actually want to own music, keep it alive and possible, and not just rent it, I love you and salute you. I love the rest of you too but you’re taking this cricket thing way too far this time round. Come and get your name on this thing that is real and in need of cash, gas, and love. #fatherdaughterlove❤️ #sobrietyrocks #bmwr75 #radiostar #illtellitallinmynewbook by @indiosaravanja

There you go. This is how it feels when I can move onto the next new album and leave the one I’ve been working on and let it fly. This baby debuts on CBC North this Sunday morning on Jared Monkman’s show and hits Spotify et al on Pablo Grinjot’s birthday on Monday. Hope you dig it. Hope he does too. Have a nice weekend amigos. Keep it between the ditches and right side up. Thanks for supporting my music, family, and team. #indiosaravanjasea by @indiosaravanja

One of over 120 album covers made for this album using my photography. Friends, my newest album SEA - THE SONGS OF PABLO GRINJOT is out SEPT 7th. If enough of you buy a download, I’ll get it to you on vinyl. Abrazo fuerte for now, Indio S. #indiosaravanjasea #pablogrinjot by @indiosaravanja

This is a record I have never had to live without since I was a wee child. Desert island stuff. And I’ve never had to live in a world without Dolly, but I don’t have to, she is everywhere. So much light and love, courage, and class, and one of the greatest songwriters of all time, period and full stop. Let’s also say she was one of the greatest singers of all time as well. I prayed that I would meet her one day just to say this: thank you and God bless you Dolly. I will always love you. #dollypartoniwillalwaysloveyou by @indiosaravanja

The first and only single from this album LITTLE FLOWER OF THE SEA is out today on Apple Music. Spotify was set for today too. Not sure if they got it together or not as I don’t use Spotify. Thank you for loving and listening, and to the few and mighty who still buy me a few coffees or lunch once in a while with the purchase of a download. Anyone who joins my website today gets this track for free. INDIO SARAVANJA SEA - THE SONGS OF PABLO GRINJOT is out on Sept 7th. Chau and ciao for now amigos, Indio.

*** ADDED INFO: if you find the track quiet on Apple Music you need to go into your app and turn Sound Check ON. Thank you Apple Music. 💪

LITTLE FLOWER OF THE SEA

Little flower of the sea
When you’re walking with me
I feel happy and free

Every passion is good
Everything understood
Little flower of the sea

Botticelli would draw
Every beauty he saw
With desire and awe

But I bet he would kneel
If he saw you for real
Little flower of the sea

When the sunset is pink
And the stars start to blink
And the moon starts to rise

Laugh at all that we say
As the light fills the bay
And it shines in your eyes

Side by side holding hands
In the moon and the sand
Is where I understand

Without needing to see
Why you ever chose me
Little flower of the sea
