🇪🇨♥️👨🏽‍🚒 by @indirita.e

Matthew 25:40 “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” As believers in Christ and as human beings sharing this earth we cannot stay silent while others suffer, are stripped of their rights, or live in fear. We are called to stand with the hungry, the sick, the oppressed, and the immigrant chasing their version of the “American Dream.” We must use our privilege to uplift the communities under siege. Day by day, the system tries to silence the Latino community (among many others). But they will never erase our blood, our love, or our presence. Whether undocumented and sustaining the economy or documented and using our voice—we are still here. They can try to break us, but they will never take our spirit. The Latino community may be hurting, but it is never weak or quiet. We are filled with pride, resistance, and resilience. Whether you left everything behind or were born here, the spirit of your motherland lives in your blood. That spirit is what keeps us rising—stronger, louder, and more united every time they try to push us down. Sending my love to everyone who has been affected by the disgusting and inhumane actions of the Trump admin. Los quiero con todo mi corazón. 💌 by @indirita.e

These are the teachings that Jesus imparted to his disciples, the lessons he left for us, his children. Jesus calls us to be merciful as he is to us, to cultivate pure hearts so we can seek God and let His light shine through us, reaching others. He urges us to be peacemakers, for true peacemakers are the children of God. Jesus would never condone the deaths of thousands upon thousands of His children. He would not sit beside leaders who endorse the brutal, evil slaughter of children, women, the elderly, men—anyone at all. In spirit, Jesus stands with those deprived of food and water, with those whose only shelter from airstrikes is a tent. He is with the journalists risking their lives to expose global injustices. He embraces the mother in a makeshift hospital as she bids farewell to her baby. Jesus is present with the innocent child lying on a stretcher, bearing unthinkable injuries and left without family. He gives strength to those sifting through rubble, finding remains buried beneath. Jesus stands with the father, alone and ashamed, feeling defeated for not being able to protect his family. He is with the nation witnessing ethnic cleansing before the world’s eyes, with the country that has endured 530 days of hell. #freepalestine by @indirita.e
