"When you hurt people, they begin to love you a little less. That's what careless words do, they make people love you a little less"

The God of small things is a rare book that took a difficult and stressful turns of emotions within me and I took a lot of time to articulate all the events yet agree with their existence to the very core of this world around me.

The book travels around different time zones evoking certain events in the lives of egg twins Estha and Rahel and their lives in their mother's maternal home in Ayemenem. Smothering prejudices to the extreme layers like caste discrimination, gender discrimination and then presenting them before us through this book made me believe Roy is a magician of words and as a human.

This book demands and tests each layer of patience within us, with the riddle of words and phrases, this book is definitely not for a beginner to read, but is a must to read in a lifetime. I can just say if you feel difficulties and exhausting within its first part , please don't give up, read it entirely, it peels skin to skin and rips out the heart and leaves one devastated at the end parts.

A straight 5⭐ from me. by @indistinguishablereads

I watched the film Dasvidaniya about 10 years ago starring @pathakvinay, @rkrkay , @nehadhupia and I felt in love with the innocence the storyline has to offer. Inspired by the film, I also made a wishlist for myself which I was supposed to fulfil, but alas, my wishlist changed again and again and again. taken in Kolkata - The City of Joy by @indistinguishablereads

Made this amateur diy stand from a shampoo bottle last year. A lot has changed in the year, that blue bookshelf is now magenta painted, the mirror is broken into infinite pieces and now the pieces are in some unknown parts of the world, that clock is destroyed, that pretty led bulbs has damaged. But I am screaming internally and saying that I am doing fine, like Eleanor Oliphant, I am completely fine.

#Qotd - Do you love to diy with stuffs and made anything that comes to your mind?
