Gempa bumi yang terjadi di Pulau Flores pada 15 Agustus 2026 bukan hanya meninggalkan luka di daratan, dengan rumah-rumah yang runtuh dan masyarakat yang terdampak.

Di bawah laut pun, alam ikut merasakan guncangannya. Salah satu dive spot terbaik di Komodo, Police Corner, turut terdampak—karang dan struktur bawah lautnya mengalami retakan dan kerusakan.

Today at Tatawa Kecil, one of my favorite dive sites in Komodo, we experienced the ocean’s raw power after the new moon. The current pushed us down, up, and sideways! 💙

My guests wanted to experience the real thrill of Komodo’s currents, so we went for it! 🤙 All my divers were experienced, including instructors and divemasters, and everyone finished the dive safely with big smiles. Even our videographer was safe!

🎥 No fancy editing, no special effects. Just pure ocean power! This is the real current of Komodo.

Remember, not every dive site in Komodo has strong currents. Conditions change depending on the season, moon phase, tides, and dive site. We always assess the conditions and choose dives according to our divers’ experience and abilities.

Komodo’s strong currents create an incredible underwater experience. We care deeply about coral conservation and always respect the reef.

Some rocky areas naturally have little or no living coral because of the powerful currents and local conditions. We only interact with loose rocks or dead coral when appropriate, and never damage living coral.

Dive with respect. Leave the ocean better than you found it.

A dream that is finally becoming reality 🌊🤿

Opening my own dive center has always been a dream of mine — and today, that dream is slowly coming true.

Indo Aura is more than just a dive center. It is my passion, my journey, and a place where I can personally guide and share the beauty of Komodo with you.

I promise to do my very best to create a safe, personal, and unforgettable diving experience for every guest who chooses to dive with me.

For now, I’m still saving and working toward another big dream: having our own boat. Until then, Indo Aura works together with trusted dive centers and boat partners in Labuan Bajo, joining their boats for our daily trips.

If you want to discover Komodo beneath the surface and experience it with a local guide who truly loves what he does, come dive with me.

I’ll do my best to make every dive something you’ll remember.
