Three projects will take the stage at Doc Square's WIP Documentary Showcase during the @asiancontentsfilmmarket @busanfilmfest BIFF Asian Contents & Film Market.

We saw Moon as one of the participant of Docs by the Sea Editing Lab 2025! They are also the winner of 2025's Docs by the Sea Award.

Since then, Moon has also progresses at Yamagata Documentary Dojo 2025, and they are also the recipient of 2026 IDFA Bertha Fund - IBF Classic Scheme @idfafestival and the winner of Best Award at 2026 @dmzdocs Industry Production Pitch ‼️

This relentless project are in their final stretch and gearing up for next year release.

both the director @machihang_circus and producer @chantszpei will be in Busan presenting their project. Do come if you're interested! 🙏

Departed from @impact.docs Good Pitch Indonesia 2024, since then The Island of Leaving has been to DBTS24 Editing Lab, also the winner of DBTS24 DW Award and @dokleipzig Award, and went to @moviesthatmatterfestival in The Hague 💬

Both @lodimedakini and Armin Septiexan Radja Djawa will be at Busan pitching ‼️

Gearing up for 2028 release, we hope ACFM could be another important push for this important project.

We met Restless Farewell as one of the participant of DBTS25 Storytelling Lab! 💭

Since then, it has earned recognition at CCDF @cnex.tw, @tokyodocsofficial, @edfilmfest, and awarded Best Pitch at @sunnysidedoc ☀️

Co-producer @huichiehdanielleyen will be at Busan representing the project!

We're excited to open applications for the inaugural Docs by the Sea Fellowship, introducing Civic Tech as its first edition's focus!

Designed as a two-year journey, the fellowship supports emerging documentary filmmakers across Southeast Asia developing feature-length and short documentary projects exploring how technology shapes everyday life, public participation, and systems of power.

Selected fellows will receive:
✨ Development and production grants
✨ Regional residencies across Southeast Asia
✨ Mentorship and access to international networks
✨ A final showcase at Docs by the Sea 2028 😉‼️
