It's awkward to say the least! I don't know it all, but I believe the God in them. What do we have to lose when the Elders of the church are walking with them?

Are you paying attention? What part of The Church has gifts, but is underutilized? Who are the people discredited by human standards, but endowed by God to show who He is?
Youth.
They struggle with sin like adults do.
Why aren't we discipling them like they don't experience hardship or struggle? Every where else in the world acknowledges the talents, skills, influence, and culture of youth. Just...not the Church.

We've created a conference for youth AND the adults who disciple them.
To stop the erroneous rhetoric: youth are the leaders of tomorrow.

Youth are the leaders of today.

Busyness will rob us of true rest. We will mistake busyness for holiness. We will surrender our power to pride. We think it's about what are doing instead of who we are resting in. And we make ourselves idols. And wonder why we're exhausted.

I'm lyin! 🤣
Been in an empty room after planning for the ultimate GLOW party with a K-pop band, smoke machine, and a Taki buffet for my own event!
Been at churches who put my youth in cold basements and told them they could come out for pageants and "youth day".
Today, I'm giving kids 10 minutes and a microphone and ask them to tell people about the God they know and watch the room ignite.
But TRUST been there. by @indomitableaz

That Lent prayer be HEAVY Boi!

This year, Lent has felt so filling. I've had some pretty hard things revealed about what I need. And how God is the source of those needs. It's been about things I'm giving up, but this year its been about what I'm gaining in quiet reflection.

What are you experiencing this Lent?
