This is my earth angel Opal. She spends her days by my side making sure I’m ok. Filled with unconditional Love & very protective. It’s been a bit over a year since I posted here. I have however posted on my edit account. It’s a different story here. Shortly after the last post here last year , I went back to the hospital for a very long time. And when I was well enough I spent another month in a rehab facility. I’m very fortunate to have survived the surgery due to my underlying health issues. I’m truly grateful. It took a year to gain back the 29 lbs I had lost the prior year due to the unknown problem I had. It’s truly been a long year but I’m still here. Gradually I’m working back to a place of better health. While I was in the hospital after surgery, we lost our mom. She decided it was time to move on. I have had a very hard time dealing with the loss and being in a place I could do nothing but try to get through my challenges. But hopefully this spring and summer I will get back to getting out in nature and taking some photos , but mainly just enjoying being outside! Often we forget how fortunate we are and how many things we take for granted each day. Love big! Say it often to those you love! Be kind and compassionate as you never know what challenges others are facing and be peaceful. We don’t have long here -you’ve heard it before. It’s truly fleeting! Love to all💕💫 by @indreamsifly

Well hello! It’s been a very long time since I’ve posted anything. This past year and the beginning of the New has been extremely trying on my life health wise. I’m working very hard to change things and trying to keep positive and hopeful. Just a few words of wisdom gained during this time. Always treasure every moment no matter what challenges you face. Tell everyone that is important to you that you love them every day. Don’t give up, because what you’re going through may be the doorway to the wonderful life the Universe has waiting for you. I love you all! I missed you. I hope to continue to find photos to post. This was taken on the way home from my most recent hospital stay. It’s a most beautiful church. One day soon I’ll go downtown with my good camera and do it justice. Blessings to you all! Have a beautiful weekend! ✨💫✨💫✨💫✨💫✨💫✨💫

“It is spring again. The earth is like a child that knows poems by heart.”

This photo is from several years ago. It’s one that I bypassed several times because the corner of the bench blocking mama goose bothered me. But I began to edit it a little and crop it. I do like it this way especially the lighting and the focus on the goose and goslings.
Thought for today, Always look with open eyes and heart because you never know what you may be missing. Have an awesome day my friends.

When I got out of the car yesterday, I noticed first thing our neglected flower garden waiting for our much needed attention. Lots of little wild yellow flowers , some weeds, a few perennials that managed to survive the winter and rough start to spring. However the next thought was what a beautiful greeting home with all these bright yellow flowers! I leaned over to grab a couple photos with my phone quick before the homecoming commenced . Later after I was settled I noticed this photo that I hadn’t realized I really focused on the spikey leaf plant that was thriving in the middle of all these pretty flowers. It stood out saying look at me! So with a bit of editing I was able to enhance that little voice and I’m quite happy, as I realized that often we feel lost in the shuffle, no one notices and has no idea what you’re facing each day. But I’m here to say that you are noticed, people do care which has become very evident to me this last week especially and you always have your voice ! Your heart speaks to you quietly but surely all the time. Just take time to listen . You are loved, you are unique and yet the same because we are all one. So remember that , give a smile to someone who may need it, say hello..have a good day just because and know that these gestures however small they seem to you they may be very large to that person who receives it. Have a fantastic day!! Lots of love, and Thank you! 🌿🌼🌿🌼🌿🌼🌿🌼🌿🌼🌿

Sometimes a discarded photo from awhile ago has more potential than originally thought.
This is from a summer trip to Forest Lawn Cemetery a few years ago but I’ve always loved it. Now playing with it a little today I love it even more. Hope you enjoy. There’s beauty in everything, you just have to be willing to see it.

Oops : Well I thought I could combine full size photos & cropped but guess what? I wanted you to see the full photos of each but no joy there, & I’m not reposting. My apologies.
Well here it is nearly the end of May! This year so far has been such a roller coaster! This shot was a quick catch at a red light on my way home from another hospital stay, but I happen to love the drive home along the lake front!! It’s going through a rejuvenation this last year. A mixture of old factories and new beach additions along with bike trails , art sculptures and new little parks near the boat harbors. As you move closer to the city it’s even more impressive. I can’t wait to get down there for a tour around. Anyway this photo caught my eye. It may not look like much to some but it spoke to me and I thought I’d share. The sky grew very hazy and strange yesterday fast! So leave it to your imagination or do some research. I’ll leave it at that. Happy day to you all, be grateful for every moment no matter what it brings because it all has meaning! 🍃🕊🍃🕊🍃🕊🍃🕊🍃

This is my first portrait with my new phone taken a short while ago. I really am quite happy about the way it turned out. And my hubby likes it enough to use it as his author photo for his new poetry book.
