Where have we been?

We moved to a smaller city about a year and a half ago and six months after we moved Indy began having seizures.
The seizures are heartbreaking to watch but they are easier to handle now that we know what to do when he has them.

They may take our lives, but they will never take our candy 😁

I want to be the reason you look down at your phone and smile... then walk into a pole. 😁🩷

Happy Love Day! by @indy.inc

At the tender age of 3 Fisto was diagnosed with cataracts in both eyes..
He lost his left eye 2 years ago to uveitis ..
Since then his right eye has been leaking protein. He’s on daily painkiller drops..

November 2022 Fisto had a hernia surgery where they didn’t ask about medications he was currently taking. They didn’t take the necessary precautions. Due to negligence his remaining eye had been affected tremendously and his eye is in a meltdown process 🥹

It is clear that his remaining eye won’t last much longer and he is due to have the other side of his hernia fixed soon. We are grateful to have insurance but the deductibles have added up so much it’s creating a burden. Not to mention the emotional toll it’s taken because the hospital wants to put him down.. they don’t believe a blind dog can live a fulfilling life.. but we know that’s not true.. Any help would be greatly appreciated
