Winter for 26/27 Indy Passholders is closer than you think.

Corralco Resort de Montaña, our premier resort partner in Chile is ready to welcome 26/27 Indy Passholders as soon as their season begins (typically in mid-June).

Located in the heart of Chile’s Malalcahuello National Reserve, Corralco offers unique access to ski-in mountain lodging at one of South America’s most spectacular volcano ski destinations surrounded by ancient forests and history.

Thanks to the volcano’s high elevation and unique climate, Corralco claims one of the longest ski seasons in South America, even serving as a training venue for the United States Ski Team.

Indy Pass had the pleasure of hosting hundreds of friends, partners, and ski industry leaders from 50+ independently-run resorts around the world at the 2nd Annual “Conference of Indypendents.”

Today’s ski industry is changing faster each day than perhaps ever before.

This event aims to create space for the world’s independent ski operators to come together, share ideas, and tackle the most pressing opportunities across technology, marketing, operations, insurance, and beyond. At the core of it all is a shared mission. Preserving the uniquely welcoming and affordable ski experience these resorts provide.

We’re also honored to host this now annual gathering at our new headquarters in New Hampshire at @blackmtnnh. Events such as this are in direct alignment with our resort, which serves as both a historic ski area and an innovation hub for independent ski areas everywhere.

Happy birthday to the late great Ralph DesLauriers, founder of Bolton Valley.

Ralph believed skiing should be fun and affordable, and he put that belief into action. His after-school ski program helped introduce an estimated 50,000–100,000 Vermonters to the sport, and he fostered the welcoming, down-to-earth resort atmosphere we all know and love today.

Say hello to our newest team members.

We recently announced that we’re moving our headquarters to Jackson, New Hampshire, bringing our Entabeni and Indy Pass teams all under the same roof at the historic Black Mountain. That move is now nearly complete and our team is growing to scale for what’s next.

We have big plans for the year ahead, keeping our sights fixed on our common goal of helping independently owned ski areas succeed.

Additional hires across engineering, operations, and more are expected ahead of the winter season to grow our New Hampshire-based organization. Interested applicants are encouraged to email their application information to busstop@entabenisystems.com. by @indyskipass

Our very own Erik Mogensen has been honored by the North American Snowsports Journalists Association for his achievements in snowsports public and media relations with the Bob Gillen Memorial Award. Read the Full statement from NASJA:

“Through honest newsletters and regular communication, Mogensen – who in addition to owning Black Mountain is Director of Indy Pass and snowsports technology company Entabeni Systems – brought skiers, media and the broader community into the unfolding story of a small independent ski area making headlines. Judges said his work around Black Mountain this season stood out because people were not just reading updates, they were following a story. Even those who had never heard of or skied Black Mountain found themselves paying attention. His work reflected the transparency, care and independent spirit that keep local ski culture alive.”

The award is named for Bob Gillen, the legendary former editor of SKI Magazine, marketer at Crested Butte and Sugarbush resorts, and a staunch ally of the North American Snowsports Journalists Association. by @indyskipass

You know what they say… there’s no time like the present. We believe the same is true for planning a ski trip to Japan.

Our friends at @japanskitours just launched their 2027 trip dates for group tours to Hokkaido and Tohoku on their website, spanning 8-10 day trips.

While the mainstream resort circuit is easy to find, JST takes the path less traveled to independently-owned and operated ski areas. Think uncrowded slopes, rich tradition, and stunning culture.

It’s something you will come to find at any of our partner ski resorts in Japan (not to mention loads of snow).

When it’s love, it’s magic.

The story of Katy & Chad getting hitched at @skimagicvt is too good not to share… try to hold back your tears:

“Chad first taught me (Kaity) to ski in 2017. Since then, we have made it our goal to travel to as many mountains as time allows each winter. When we came across the Indy Pass in 2021, we were immediately interested because of the location of many of the mountains, and we bought our passes!

Since first purchasing the Indy Pass, we have visited more than 20 Independent Mountains in the New England Area, Oregon, and Canada. We quickly became “weekend warriors” driving from Pennsylvania on Fridays after work and returning late Sunday night. Some of our most memorable mountains have been Magic, Saddleback, Jay Peak, Mt. Hood Meadows, Cannon, Greek Peak, Berkshire East, Black Mountain of NH, and Waterville Valley. We run out of winter weekends each year, but are so excited to keep exploring and see as many of the amazing Indy mountains as possible.

Chad and I are always up for an adventure, so when Chad proposed at Glacier National Park in 2025, we quickly decided we NEEDED to get married on snow. We realized that many Indy mountains had become such a huge part of our lives, and we wanted to share our most special day with a resort that had become a must-stop and ski every winter. We reached out to Magic right away, and Devon, along with Magic Mountain, was up for the challenge! We made friends for life during this process and were able to celebrate ourselves in a very Kaity & Chad way! Our wedding weekend went seamlessly, thanks to the amazing staff at Magic Mountain, and was filled with so much love. We were surrounded by 30 of our closest friends and family. We couldn’t have dreamed of a better weekend!”

Shoutout to @skimagicvt for making the magic happen. They now offer on-mountain weddings and private events year-round.
