HHI ‘26 🇺🇸 // The end to my 14 years of competing.

Wow.
What time HHI was this year! Our first one back in 7 years and I think it’s my favourite one yet (& Ive done 6 😅)

This years HHI opened back up my eyes and also my heart.
Ive gained and built relationships that I will hold for a lifetime, had the best time through all the ups and the downs, the literal blood sweat and tears.
Theres been so many versions of IMD through my 14 years. But every single version has always been one thing, and thats family.

To my family.
Im so proud of you all. Thank you for sharing the competition stage with me one last time. It’s so hard for me to make the decision to stop, but I hope you learn from my blueprint and you push to be the best that I know you are.
& dw, cos I will be there still every step of the way.
9th in the world? Next time finals, next time the Gold medal!
Please realise what you did out there 👏🏽 Stars.
Thank you for holding up the DNA.
This part of the journey may of ended for me, but I know and trust that it’s in good hands.

To my kids, LV.
You guys can STRESS me out. 😅
But I tell you what, you guys are so flipping talented and Im so so proud of you all.
Thank you for always trusting me and showing me so much respect.
My heart holds a special place for you guys.
Dont be expecting long hugs in rehearsals 👀😂

KARMA.
Flipping el.
Whole female squad like that? Insanely proud of the strength and the power you WOMEN brought to that stage. The growth seen within you all individually in so many ways 👏🏽.

LEGACY!
THATS MY SQUAD.
You was the team I told first about it being my end, because thats where my trust lies and I am sooooo grateful for that moment we shared before hitting that stage in prelims & on stage.
It may not of ended the way we wanted it, but Im grateful regardless.
The Legacy bond is DIFFERENT.
I want to shout out my lil bro @jah_dancer for stepping up literally last minute & my new Legacy sister @laurentweed._ , you stepped out of your shell so much and both held your own.
Im so proud of you both, Thank you 🤍
