A ✨very✨ late February dump
February is always a rough month for me, as there’s a lot of loss in my life during this month. This one was not kind to me. Rest easy Zeus. It’s hard to articulate the impact you had on myself, as well as the rest of my family. Thank you for bringing some joy and love into the lives of the people around you. Been taking some time to myself to reflect on the past year and a half.
.
My first tipping was at Rendezvous last year. Since then I have managed to catch 23 more sets. This past year and a half has been one of the more challenging periods of my life. And this community has given me a space to not only grow, but heal in many aspects.
.
So thank you tipper, for the memories. Thank you for curating some of the best events I have attended in the 8 years I’ve been attending events in general. Thank you giving us a space to enjoy both music we love, while honoring those who aren’t here anymore (love you, and miss you so much @beast_wood ) Thank you for curating events that prioritize preaching harm reduction, which is essential in this community of music.
.
And thank you friends. Thank you for the laughs, the tears, the long talks with some gorgeous views, and ice cream runs. For the longest time, I struggled with finding a genre, and a space that feels like home. This community has brought so many people into my life, that I get to continue experiencing life with, and having conversations of substance with. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for us, because this wasn’t a goodbye, but rather see you soon 💛 special shout out to @theshookwook for being my introduction to this beautiful music.

Words can’t describe how much I’m hurting right now. Beast, you were not only the first friend I made in the EDM community, but you were the first friend I made when I moved out to Orlando. You invited into a group of wonderful people. You had such a bright soul, and put a smile on the face of everyone you met. You were caring, and selfless. You were genuinely good, and were one of the few people that reassured me that there are still decent people in this world. Fly high, and may we meet again 💙 by @ineffable.lauren
