I debated deleting some of you from my social media for being fiapoko and faikakala😂 and as much as I want to tag y’all in my post, I’m going to try to train your minds and inform you instead on how my dealings with my dad work.

If you’re new here, this is my dad, Carl. In 2018, he was diagnosed with Dementia and early onsets of Alzheimer’s. My family and I have dealt with this disease for many generations prior to my dad and have continued to educate ourselves with the current ongoings and development of this diagnosis. In November, I will give updates on my dad’s progression as it is Alzheimer’s Awareness Month so whomever is interested in our journey can continue to know the well-being of my dad.

But through my videos/stories of my dad, you may not see the humor in how we deal with this. In my nice palagi voice😬, thank you for your thoughts on how I can treat him better but this is how we cope, through laughter. Enjoying the moments we have now with him. September 12, 2001. A day to reflect on what happened. A day to come together as one. A day to honor the lives lost. A day to always remember 9/11.

I’m always reminded of the 33 flight crew members who died. Remembering The last words uttered by Betty Ong, “Pray For Us.” And remembering, even after ten years of doing this, that every day I walk off an airplane safely, how grateful I am.

No matter the profession, remember to “pray for us” in every capacity so that we may never forget what 9/11 taught us🇺🇸🤍

This how I looked when I experienced my first bully at Newcomb Academy in Long Beach CA. It’s also how I looked when I got kicked out for beating up the bully. Pushing his 🍑 down the slide, following his tumbling 🍑 down, and shoving sand down his throat. All while Wesley watched me do it🤣

That day I learned I was never meant for private school. I was never going to allow anyone to bully me. And I will stand on business.
