Top hats are done and finally we can see the full assembly! For shocks like @ohlinsusa TTX, not just any top hats will do. @inertialaboratory came up with these super trick hats designed specifically for the HyperMiata. CNC’d out of 7075 aluminum with offsets to optimize clearances while remaining compliant with Limited Class rules. Not every suspension project comes across our bench. Hennessey and TracTive developed a new shock specification for the Venom F5, and Inertia Lab was trusted to help bring it together. We took the components, transferred the load cells, assembled the new specification, filled and prepared the dampers, and sent them back to TracTive for the next step. Pretty cool opportunity to be involved in the development of a car like this. We can't wait to see how it performs. 🏁 by @inertialaboratory
