It took me some time to digest my defeat, which ended quite early and was not within my goals. This competition revealed its share of unexpected challenges. The waves were far from meeting my expectations, either small and fickle, or large and disorganized, and the initial excitement quickly turned into a struggle against nervousness and doubt. Despite all the preparation and training, my performance did not reflect my full potential, and this disappointment is hard to digest.

Yet, amidst this frustration, I find a glimmer of hope. Because every trial offers us the opportunity to grow and learn. Today, I learned to deal with difficult conditions, to confront my own limits, and to remain resilient in the face of adversity.

It is in these moments of challenge that we discover our true inner strength. As I look beyond this competition, I am filled with renewed determination to continue working hard, to push my limits, and to pursue my passion with even greater fervor. Because this is how we grow, this is how we improve, and this is how we become the best surfers of ourselves.

Thank you to everyone who was there for me, whether at home or on-site, thank you @thierrydelbourg_surfboards @universal_fin_plug_official for the little treats, and a big thank you to @fedesurfmaroc for this opportunity.

A few days ago, I had the chance to try yoga for the very first time at the @shido.mind_yoga studio’s, and what an incredible experience it was! 🙏✨ In a warm and friendly atmosphere, I discovered that yoga is so much more than just poses. It’s about connecting the body and mind through breath, flexibility, and focus.

As an athlete, I quickly realized how valuable yoga can be. Not only does it help improve flexibility and balance, but it also teaches you how to manage stress and strengthen concentration — key elements for excelling in competitions and training. 💪

This first session helped me release all the tension in my body and brought a true sense of mental and physical well-being. It’s been a while since I last posted, and for a good reason... I had to deal with a tear in my internal meniscus, which kept me off the board for about 2 months. Being away from the water isn’t easy, especially when surfing is a passion that’s part of who you are. But tough moments remind you of the importance of patience and perseverance.

There are ups and downs, and sometimes the road to your goals feels longer than expected, but you have to keep your head up and keep fighting. Every challenge makes you stronger, more determined. Nothing can steer you away from your dreams when you stay focused on what truly matters. I’m back, more motivated than ever, ready to give everything for what drives me. 🌊💥 by @ines_tebbai
