ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN IN THE THEATER ~ 17.10.25

since coming to the IAB i have both dreaded and wished for our first production. i felt so anxious and not ready at all. and that’s the beauty of it, no? when you walk into a room full a people, a creative team you have never met, and you feel unprepared and scared and lost, and in a few minutes the rehearsal room feels like home, and all those people feel like family.

i have nothing to say but an endless incoherent stream of thank yous.

thank you to our amazing creative team: our amazing director and choreographer @jordanlangford1 , our wonderful MD @rickeymusic and last but absolutely never least our unstoppable stage manager @brody.buck.36 . thank you for putting up with our shenanigans and for giving us space to grow and learn.

thank you to our cast, my friends who i love so so much. i will miss this production forever and i will miss running around the studio singing a very questionable song called feet (yes, i’ll even miss that).

special thanks to my princess @neliciadesilva , the bestest duet partner i could’ve asked for. 🩷

i’ve never felt so sure that this is where i belong 🫶🏻

and just like that our first year at the IAB is over ♥︎
i’ve met so many amazing people, i’ve learned so many things, and so much has changed in so little time!!
this was undoubtedly the best decision i’ve ever done in my life and i wouldn’t trade it for the world.
to two more years of long rehearsals, sweaty studios, shots at brothers, amazing memories and more 🫶🏻

Acho que não podíamos ter acabado de maneira melhor.
Estes três anos passaram depressa de mais, mas se voltasse atrás, fazia tudo da mesma maneira.

EPTC 2021/2024

tantas vezes dissemos que nunca mais acabava, e agora só quero voltar e fazer tudo outra vez.

ainda estou em negação. ainda me sinto uma aluna, e ainda me sinto vossa colega. acho que vou sempre sentir.

estes três anos de suor, sangue e lágrimas foram das caminhadas mais bonitas que fiz até hoje, e foi um privilégio fazê-la ao vosso lado.
