Ayibobo! Out Now (Link In Bio)

Healing is usually my impetus to write. This song came at a time in my youth of existential dread; a feeling I would continue to feel in waves throughout my life. Again and again and after that, I begin anew.

Paired with an Ayisyen (Haitian) folkloric song called Wangol O!
about protection for migrants and a nation dream to return to a thriving homeland of your own. One without external/internal corruption. A nation dream migrants carry in their hearts like a dream deferred.

This is the 2nd single off my LIVE AT MOCA album with

Dear Chellé 🕊

I wish we took more pictures. I wish we recorded more songs. I wish we had more time. I wish I could tap in to the other side. I'm sorry I was busy. I'm sorry I didn't fully understand. I'm sorry I wasn't present. I'm sorry I didn't realize how short our time was. I'm sorry for taking our limited time for granted.

I've been in hotel rooms for 3 weeks now and the solitude has forced me to deal with my loneliness and loss. I know you are my angel but I really need you as a friend right now so I've been playing your healing music. I recently shared it with new friends and one said "she was ahead of her time". They have no idea!

I wish I could hear your voice, your laugh, you singing, you rapping, your light language, your everything sis. I just wish you were here. I love you with all of my being. Forever my sister cousin friend @chellegemz by @inezinezinez_

Appreciation post to @mtcmiami for supporting us with three work-in-progress performances of LOVE IS A VERB last March 2026. We had over 900 students from Miami-Dade county as the very first audience to see the full show with new costumes, props and songs made by @inezinezinez_ (Tati Nuzi).

It was a special week as we had Tati Nuzi's father @jan.sebon (co-music director) and little sister on stage with the new band including @nabedi and @iammattsonata

Miami Theater Center is where @tatinuzi started back in 2018 with a L.E.A.P. grant producing our first children's show AYITI: Stories & Songs from Haiti. So when we needed a place to try out our new show, MTC opened its arms to us again. With their generous support, we were able to sharpen the show before it went to Virginia to conclude our year-long commission with Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts @wolf_trap in May 2026.

Six archetypes gather to share tales woven with energetic punk music and expressive movement. These stories of an anti-colonial femme fatale, a secret society of beautiful femmes, and a reunification in the mosh pit are adapted from Orisha narratives and Caribbean folktales.
