| To my grandmother…

Our Heavenly Father called you home today. While this loss feels heavy on my heart, I know that this moment requires both faith and strength—both of which you have instilled within me. You were strength without noise. Love without conditions. Presence without needing recognition. You carried grief quietly, yet still showed up for your family. Losing my mom changed me. Losing you feels like the closing of the chapter that raised me, shaped me, and held me together.

Grandma, I don’t want to mourn your loss today. I want to honor you and I want to thank you. Thank you for the strength and values that you poured into our family. Thank you for powerful endurance while being kind, loving, & gentle. Your love didn’t leave with your last breath—I carry it with me. Forever. Give my mommy and Papa a big hug and kiss from me while you all rest peacefully. Because I know where you are, and whose you are, just know that I will be ok.
