This month, our team showed up across the country, from garden conferences to nonprofit leadership summits. ✨

We had the pleasure of attending both the @americanpublicgardens and @pointsoflight conferences, connecting with mission-driven leaders from gardens, conservatories, and nonprofits across the country.

At APGA, Lauren and Kasey from our team met public lands supporters from across the continent working to make green spaces more affordable and accessible to everyone. Highlights included a field trip to Filoli Gardens, a closing keynote from Rue Mapp, and connecting IRL with the APGA community, including one of our botanical garden clients.

At Points of Light, Lauren had the honor of meeting Neil Bush. They chatted about nonprofit finance, our global community, and the best lobster shack in Maine. 🦞

🚀 Total giving is growing, but the number of unique donors is declining.

🚀 Affluent donors are increasingly choosing tax-advantaged gifts like stocks, crypto, and DAFs over traditional cash donations.

🚀 An estimated $124 trillion in generational wealth is set to transfer by 2048.

From introducing Iggy to an ice cream social with friends from Donor Relations Group and @memoryfoxes to Karen’s session on making endowments more accessible, our team had an incredible time at AFP Icon in April. ☀️

We even squeezed in an impromptu gathering with fellow nonprofit tech leaders and ended the trip with a sunset cruise through the harbor.

As Lynne Wester (@donorguru) reminded us in her closing keynote: technology scales efficiency, but gratitude scales humanity.
