๐๐€๐— ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ” โœจ It finally happened, I broke that PAX cherry! ๐Ÿ’ Hands down one of the funnest gaming events Iโ€™ve attended, so much so I forgot to take a lot more photos & videos. It was incredible to meet so many of you finally - between the convention floor, the excellent game preservation panel, breaks out on the grass & even a run in during a bathroom break - youโ€™re all amazing โœจ Still missed a few people sadly but you can bet next yearโ€™s going to be even bigger ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป A huge shoutout to @huntressplays for helping me out with my first time in Melbourne in forever, this community is home to some of the greatest friendships. Huge love for @rocketcommsanz for allowing me the opportunity to have a content creator badge & I canโ€™t wait to return - 2027 will be huge! ๐Ÿ”ฅ #PAX #PAX2026 #RocketComms #Melbourne taken in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia by @infiniteascension

We all knew this would happen one day, and itโ€™s been slowly happening over the last decade, but to have a deadline of less than two years - it hurts. Nothing beats buying a new release from a store, tearing off that plastic sealing and putting a disc into your console - and now that experience, after the last few decades, will be over. Nintendo have already begun this changeover with their digital keys, Xbox had already ceased production of a lot of newer titles on disc & from Sony, this is the final nail in the coffin. Crazy to think backwards compatibility will either be dead in the water with the PS6, or theyโ€™re planning something else. It feels surreal to be honest, and it seems like everyone else in the community feels the same. Itโ€™s an odd time for the industry, itโ€™ll be very interesting to see how this all goes moving forward. #PhysicalMedia #Sony #PlayStation #PS6 #GTAVI by @infiniteascension
