Forty apps, 117 countries, and it's just the four of us.

Hi, we're InfiniteUp 👋 A remote studio building apps for founders and custom software for small businesses, from Nanaimo, Canada.

What we have to show for it so far:
→ 40+ apps shipped
→ 60,000+ installs in 117 countries
→ Team of the Year 2024 from Australia's National Acoustic Laboratories
→ A case study taught at the University of Calgary

This is where we'll share what we build, what we learn, and the honest parts in between.

Got an app idea you keep putting off? Tell us in one line in the comments. We read every one.

مرحباً، نحن InfiniteUp 👋

Our AI said it was winning. It wasn't even looking at the game.

We asked an AI agent to beat a high score. It kept reporting new bests: 549, 677, 1,501. But it had stopped reading the board. The number it was so proud of was just counting its own clock. Like a step counter that counts while you sit on a bus.

The lesson: a number going up doesn't prove anything works. Before you trust one, ask what it would say if nothing were working at all.

That's how we test AI before it goes anywhere near a client's app. Full story on our blog, link in bio.

Meet Wasim. Every screen you touch, he designed it.

Wasim Alshadadi is our Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer, and one of those people every team hopes to have. A great designer, yes. But also the one who can explain a messy problem so clearly that it suddenly feels solvable, and then goes and solves it. And the kind of teammate, and friend, who has your back every single time.

He checks every screen the moment it's built, not at the end. "It's step by step." And when the AI can't get a screen quite right, he opens it and fixes it himself: "I can fix it in half an hour."

Swipe to the last slide and see if you can spot what Wasim spotted 👀

Our QA tester started fixing the bugs she finds. Here's why.

Hiba is our Quality Assurance Manager. A wrong button link. A widget that should be hidden. Text falling off the screen. A typo. Small things, but the usual process for each one is eight steps: reproduce, screenshot, write it up, assign, answer questions, wait, retest.

Sometimes that takes longer than the fix.

So when an issue is small and clear, Hiba investigates it, fixes it safely in FlutterFlow and tests it on the spot. We call it QFixing. Anything bigger, like logic, APIs, security or custom code, still goes to the developer who owns it. Knowing when not to touch something is half the skill.

QA and dev people: would this work on your team? Honest opinions welcome.

Fold it when you know the next step. Unfold it when you need the whole plan.

Closed, the iPhone Duo shows you one thing and nothing else. Open, your whole plan sits on two pages: the board, the week, and the morning Briefing. Every screen was laid out for both, with nothing important on the fold.

Pre-orders are open. In your hands from 23 October. Try the fold yourself at the link in bio.

A phone that opens like a book. $1,999. Out 23 October.

We've been building our app for it: today's list on the outer screen, the whole plan laid out when you open it. Now we want to know who's actually buying one.

Would you? Swipe and comment your number 👇🏻

Fast, affordable, good. You're not supposed to get all three.

Here's how we do it with AI: before writing a line of code, we test every major model on the real task and let the numbers pick. Sometimes the answer is a mix.

Send this to the person on your team who picks AI tools from the headlines.

Before you pay anyone to build your app, answer these five questions.

Most MVPs can ship in 5 to 7 weeks. These are the things that stretch that timeline:

1. What's the one thing it must do?
2. What does it need to connect to?
3. Does it touch health data or money?
4. Phone, browser, or both?
5. Will your feature list hold still?

Number 5 is the big one.

Save this for your next developer call (including one with us), and send it to the friend who's "been meaning to build an app" for two years.

Most to-do apps just store your tasks. Ours plans them.
Say the thing, get the steps. Answer one question, the plan changes. Photograph the list on the fridge. That's InfiniteUp, the app we built ourselves.

Free while it's in development. Search "InfiniteUp" in the App Store or Google Play.

Which one would you try first?

Google Play.

Their research. Our build.

HearWB is a companion app for adults with hearing loss, created by the National Acoustic Laboratories of Australia. NAL's researchers designed the idea and the lessons: practical communication strategies that go beyond the hearing aid.

Our job was to build it: the app people use every day, and a custom CMS so NAL's researchers can update lessons without waiting for a developer.

In 2024 NAL gave us their Team of the Year award, and then hired us again to build SoundAdvice.

Know someone with hearing loss, or who works in hearing health? Send this to them.
