It's one of the most fascinating buildings in the Schwetzingen Palace Gardens. Elector Carl Theodor not only followed a fashion trend of his time with it, but also demonstrated his cosmopolitan and tolerant nature as a ruler. 🕌

Unreal water, mountain echoes, and no filters... Königssee, you have my whole heart 😍🛶🏔️🏞️🤍

Adding this lake to the 'places I will never stop talking about' list. ❤️

Save these tips before you visit Königssee:
🎫 Make sure to buy your boat tickets online as the ticket queues are usually very long.
🚤Take the first boat of the day for the calmest water and fewer crowds, if possible.
⛰️ Sit on the right side of the boat when heading to St. Bartholomä for some of the best views.
🥾 Continue to Salet (last stop) and walk to Obersee (15 mins) —it's one of the most scenic parts of the trip.
💳 Card payments are widely accepted, but carrying a little cash is still a good idea when in Germany.
👟 Wear comfortable shoes—the walk to Obersee is easy but not suitable for flip-flops.
🌤️ Check the weather before you go—clear skies make a huge difference to the views.
🚳 Bikes/bicycles are not allowed on the electric boats
