Last week, the Council for the Management of Information Systems hit the West Coast to reconnect with our incredible network of former students. Co-Director's Dr. Dwayne Whitten and Dr. David Gomillion visited Seattle and Redmond, Washington, and Menlo Park, California.

From catching up with alumni to introducing current students and fellow Aggies to new connections, these mixers were a great reminder of the strength of the Mays Business School and Texas A&M information systems community. It was exciting to see former students sharing their experiences, offering career advice, and strengthening the relationships that make our network so special.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make these evenings a success. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to seeing you at future CMIS events!

Welcome to the 3rd cohort of our Master of Science in Supply Chain and Analytics (MS SCAN) program at Mays Business School - Texas A&M University! 🚀📈

This dynamic group kicked off their journey with an intensive orientation yesterday, and today they jumped right into their official coursework. Over the next 11 months, these students will experience an incredible, fast-paced year filled with exclusive corporate field trips, an immersive study abroad experience in Brazil, and education from our world-class faculty, Xenophon Koufteros, Dwayne Whitten, Jon M. Stauffer, Antonio Arreola-Risa, John J. Brady, Rajiv Mukherjee, Neil Geismar, Michael Ketzenberg, and Anupam Agrawal.

We are so excited to see all that this group achieves before they graduate in May 2027! Please join us in giving them a warm Aggie welcome to the INFO family. 👍🏼

It was great seeing some of our current and former students in Menlo Park, California, this evening. This is an amazing group of Aggies that joined Dr. Dwayne Whitten and Dr. David Gomillion. The next stops are in the Seattle area on the 23rd and 24th.

Last Thursday, the Council for the Management of Information Systems (CMIS) and the Supply Chain Consortium from @maysbusiness hit the road to Dallas for our Former Student Mixer at The Rustic.

It was a great evening bringing together current students and former students to connect, share experiences, and strengthen the Aggie network. Events like these provide valuable opportunities for students to learn from those who have successfully navigated the transition from college to career while allowing former students to stay engaged with the next generation of business leaders.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a success. We look forward to continuing to build connections across the CMIS and Supply Chain communities!

🚀 Internship Spotlight: Nidhi Kumari ’27 👍🏼📈

We are thrilled to celebrate Nidhi Kumari ’27 as she steps into her summer internship with @cloudflare as a Business Systems Analyst Intern on the Fintech team in Austin!

Nidhi, who is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Management Information Systems (MS MIS) degree at @maysbusiness, shared her experience with us so far:

"My internship at Cloudflare has been an incredible learning experience so far. As a Business Systems Analyst Intern on the Fintech team, I've had the opportunity to learn how large-scale business systems support billing, payments, and enterprise operations.
I've enjoyed collaborating with talented teams and gaining exposure to fintech business processes.

Every day brings something new to learn, and it's been exciting to contribute, ask questions, and grow professionally. I especially love the
collaborative and fast-paced environment at the Austin office, where everyone is willing to share their knowledge and support one another. The experience has been both challenging and rewarding, and I'm
excited to continue learning throughout the summer."

We want to extend a huge thank you to Braden Cooner ’25, ’26 for participating in our student panel at the Mays Recruiter Forum last month Mays Business School - Texas A&M University!

As a recent graduate of our MS Supply Chain & Analytics (MS SCAN) program, Braden provided invaluable insight into our graduate program, sharing his firsthand experience and offering best practices on how companies can successfully connect and engage with our students. The forum was a fantastic opportunity to tell our Mays story to corporate partners, and Braden did an incredible job representing the high caliber of talent coming out of the INFO Department.
