If gravity can bend time, then time isn’t the same for everyone. But here’s the mind-bending question: is the future already ā€œthereā€ somewhere in spacetime? 🤯

Einstein’s relativity makes this question far stranger than it sounds.

He paved the way for humanity, but he had no idea what was happening. šŸš€šŸ’

Before Yuri Gagarin or Alan Shepard, there was Ham.
In the desperate race to reach space, scientists didn’t know if a living creature could survive the extreme G-forces, the radiation, or the sheer terror of leaving Earth’s atmosphere. So, they sent a three-year-old chimpanzee.
On January 31, 1961, Subject 65 was strapped into the Mercury-Redstone rocket. The mission did not go smoothly. The rocket’s trajectory was too steep, thrusting him 157 miles into the air and subjecting him to a terrifying 14.7 Gs of force (far more than the planned 9 Gs). Through the intense shaking, deafening noise, and sudden zero-gravity, Ham remembered his training and pulled his levers with incredible accuracy.
When his capsule finally crashed into the Atlantic Ocean, it began taking on water. Rescue crews got to him just in time. When they opened the hatch, he reportedly smiled—a chimpanzee expression that actually signifies extreme fear and stress. Only after he survived was he officially named Ham. by @infoglyph

Imagine waking up, looking in the mirror, and realizing you are a ghost. šŸ§ šŸ’€

Cotard’s Delusion is one of the most bizarre and terrifying conditions in medical history. First described by neurologist Jules Cotard in 1880, this syndrome causes severe delusions where patients believe they are dead, putrefying, or have lost their vital organs.

The neurology behind it is fascinating. The brain’s fusiform gyrus (which recognizes faces) misfires and fails to send signals to the amygdala (which generates emotional responses). When a patient looks at themselves or their loved ones, they feel a profound, chilling emptiness. The brain logically tries to explain this total lack of feeling with a grim conclusion: I must be dead.

Some patients even visit graveyards to be closer to ā€œtheir own kind.ā€ Fortunately, it is extremely rare and can often be treated with intense antiviral therapies or electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) to effectively ā€œrebootā€ the brain’s neural pathways.

The Moon is slowly moving away from Earth by about 3.8 cm every year. Scientists measure this using lasers reflected from mirrors left on the Moon during the Apollo missions.

Imagine dancing until you literally drop dead. šŸ’ƒšŸ’€

In July 1518, the town of Strasbourg, France, experienced one of the strangest epidemics in human history: The Dancing Plague.
It wasn’t a celebration. People were screaming, crying, and begging for help, but their bodies refused to stop moving. At its peak, the plague was claiming up to 15 lives every single day.
Modern theories suggest it could have been Ergotism—a mold that grows on rye bread and causes hallucinations and spasms similar to LSD. Others believe it was extreme psychological stress causing a mass psychogenic illness.

If you woke up tomorrow and everyone on your street was dancing silently, what would you do?

The man who glitched aging. āš›ļøšŸ¤Æ

In 1978, Soviet physicist Anatoli Bugorski had the worst workplace accident in history. He leaned into the U-70 synchrotron—a massive particle accelerator—and was struck by a proton beam moving at nearly the speed of light.

The beam carried 200,000 rads of radiation. For context, 500 rads is usually fatal.
Doctors prepared for the worst.
But Bugorski didn't die.
He recovered.
He completed his PhD.
He continued working in science.

The only lasting mark?
The left side of his face, where the beam struck, stopped aging. While the right side developed wrinkles over the decades, the left side remained perfectly smooth—preserved by the beam.

The Long Wait is Over: Humanity Returns to the Moon For 54 years, the Moon has been a silent observer of our progress, waiting for the return of human footsteps.

The last time a human stood on the lunar surface was in 1972. Since then, we've sent rovers, satellites, and telescopes-but never ourselves.

That changes on February 8, 2026.

The Artemis II mission isn't just a flight; it's a declaration that humanity is no longer bound to a single planet.

NASA's Space Launch System (SLS), the most powerful rocket ever built, will propel four brave astronauts on a 10-day journey that will take them further into deep space than any human in history.

On February 8, the world will stop and look up. We aren't just going back to the Moon; we are going forward to the stars.

Jupiter is a world of impossible extremes
NASA’s Juno spacecraft is currently orbiting the King of Planets, sending back images that look more like van Gogh paintings than reality. But beneath that beautiful "tapestry" of clouds lies a violent and mysterious world.

Did you know?
The Shrinking Storm: The iconic Great Red Spot is actually dying. Data from this month confirms it’s shrinking at an alarming rate.

Metal Rain: Deep in the atmosphere, the pressure is so high it creates an ocean of liquid metallic hydrogen.

Volcanic Chaos: Jupiter’s moon Io is so active that it just experienced a record-breaking volcanic eruption captured by Juno on January 29, 2026

On January 25, 2026, American rock climber Alex Honnold made history by completing the first-ever free solo ascent of the Taipei 101 skyscraper in Taiwan, scaling the 1,667-foot (508-meter) structure without ropes or safety gear.
The climb was broadcast globally on Netflix as part of a live special titled Skyscraper Live, which used a 10-second delay for safety precautions. Honnold reached the summit spire in 1 hour, 31 minutes, and 34 seconds, more than halving the previous record set by French climber Alain Robert, who scaled the building with ropes in 2004.
Navigating the building's signature bamboo boxes-steep, overhanging segments every eight Floor honnold faced physical exhaustion and high winds but remained characteristically calm, even waving to spectators through the glass as he ascended. Celebrating his feat with a simple Sick, he later noted that the climb was one of the most physically demanding but beautiful experiences of his career.

History is just a collection of Glitch in the Matrix moments.🤯

Sometimes the truth is so bizarre that it makes fiction look boring. These three events are 100% documented by historians, yet they sound like urban legends or movie plots. From buried conquerors to medicinal condiments, the past is full of surprises.
A quick recap of the madness

Alexander the Great: Declared dead 6 days early because of a rare paralysis.

Medicinal Ketchup: Sold in pill form for stomach aches long before it touched a burger.

Juliana the Great Dane: A WWII hero who extinguished a bomb in the most natural way possible.

The search for Earth 2.0.🌌

In the infinite stretch of the cosmos, we’ve found a handful of worlds that sit in the Goldilocks Zone—regions where conditions are just right for liquid water, and potentially, life.
These aren't just dots in the sky; they are rocky, Earth-sized neighbors that might be holding the greatest secret in human history.

Proxima Centauri b: Our closest celestial neighbor, sitting just 4.2 light-years away in a habitable orbit.

Kepler-186f: Often called Earth’s cousin, it was the first Earth-sized world found in a habitable zone.

TOI-700 d: A world 100 light-years away that receives nearly the same energy from its sun as we do from ours.

How did they know? šŸ—ŗļø

Centuries before modern technology and satellite imagery, ancient cartographers were drawing the world with impossible accuracy. Some of these maps show landmasses that weren't officially discovered for hundreds of years, while others depict islands that have since vanished into the ocean entirely.

The Piri Reis Map (1513): Shows the coastline of Antarctica without ice, accurately matching the land beneath the surface that was only confirmed by modern sonar in the 1950s.

The Zeno Map (1558): Features multiple islands in the North Atlantic that simply don't exist today. Were they swallowed by the sea, or were they a complete fabrication.

The Fra Mauro Map (1450): A massive medieval masterpiece that flips our perspective—it was drawn with South at the top, challenging the very way we view the globe.
