Army Cycling Gravel Championships 2026

On Wednesday I had the opportunity to race in the Army CyclinG Gravel Championships on Salisbury plain. The course was fast, tough and due to the dry conditions very dusty. I was behind the lense at the start and for the awards. However the images here are mainly down to the amazing team of Nat and Stuart at Army Cycling. Thanks for taking the camera and capturing the event.   Due to the course being held on a military training area it is a shared resource and as such we had other vehicles to share the tracks with. Lincolnshire CX Series – Race 1 🚴‍♂️💨

Mega day out today at Hanworth Country Park for Round 1 of the Lincolnshire Cyclo-cross Series, hosted by Lincoln Cycling Club.

Really pleased with 6th Open Male, which is a 10+ place improvement on last year. Definitely heading in the right direction! 💪

But the best part of today wasn’t my result…

The girls absolutely smashed it! 🏆🏆

Both raced today and both won their categories. Couldn’t be prouder of them. Seeing them getting stuck into CX, competing is exactly what they are all about. ❤️

Brilliant atmosphere, tough course and a cracking day of racing. Roll on Round 2!

Well that’s a wrap for 2026 for the Army road race series.

Wednesday six riders represented the Infantry and competed in the Inter corps road race championships.

A mega race, with the REME pushing the pace, attack after attack shut down and countered by the Infantry team. The riders raced exceptionally well, tactically astute delivering the plan they set out from the start.

Overall Inter corps champions once again.

Army Champs Support Race 🏁

Finally, a podium! 👊🥉

It’s been a long time coming, but today everything clicked. Really pleased to take 3rd place in the Army Champs Support Race.

To top it off, it was my 3rd-fastest 20K ever, knocking 1 minute 40 seconds off my previous best, and my fastest average speed in the last three weeks.

Since Chase the Sun, I’ve felt a lot stronger on the bike. Fitness is building, confidence is building, and it’s great to see the hard work starting to pay off.

Casper the Ghost was 2nd… 👻🤣

Now it’s time to keep the momentum going. 🚴💨👊

335 km. 3,003 m of climbing. 14 hours in the saddle.

Chase The Sun South complete. ☀️🚴‍♂️

The longest ride I’ve ever done and one I’ll never forget.

There were highs, lows, tired legs, sore shoulders, and moments where the finish felt a very long way away. But every mile was worth it.

Huge thanks to everyone who supported, encouraged, and shared the road along the way.

The Trek was faultless, the views were incredible, and the sense of achievement at the finish line made every pedal stroke worthwhile.

Sometimes the biggest challenge isn’t racing others - it’s finding out what you’re capable of when you refuse to quit.

🌅🚴‍♂️ Chase the Sun South 2026 🚴‍♂️🌅

Sunrise to sunset. Coast to coast. One day. One challenge.

205 miles across the south of England with one goal: beat the sun. No shortcuts, no easy miles - just determination, good company, and the endless pursuit of the finish line.

The training is done, the bike is ready, and now it’s time to see what the legs and mind are capable of.

Army Cycling Road Race Series (ACRRS) Round 4 highlights from the B Category race. 🚴‍♂️💨

The standard across all categories has stepped up again this season, with every race proving just how strong Army cycling is becoming.

It’s always a pleasure to get out and race in the C Category, but just as enjoyable to stand on the sidelines and watch the action unfold across the other categories. The speed, tactics, and determination on display make for some fantastic racing.
