@infuzzwetrust presents the Redwood Bar’s 20th Anniversary Show Series !

Twenty years of The Redwood calls for a proper downtown celebration, and tonight’s featured artist is about as DTLA as it gets…

Lightnin’ Woodcock comes straight up out of downtown LA’s dirty underbelly. He’s a preacher who went over to the devil’s side and traded his soul for a guitar that howls. The local faithful call him the Smoochie Coochie Man😈. His sets are filthy punk-blues sermons about sex, drugs, and voodoo, delivered like a final confession. Show him some love tonight. Twenty years of Redwood wouldn’t be the same without characters like him…

Good Evening. Join us this Sunday.

Memorial for Scott Guerin
2pm at The Redwood Bar

Join us at The Redwood to remember Scott Guerin, singer and bandleader of the Deadbeats and Bent. Starting in 1977, Scott and his brother Shaun made the Deadbeats one of the strangest and most fearless bands. Their Dangerhouse EP “Kill The Hippies” and their wild, theatrical shows didn’t look or sound like anyone else, and Scott never stopped pushing it.

The afternoon will include:

• Remembrances from friends, collaborators and family
• A work-in-progress screening of the Deadbeats segment of Inside Punk, the documentary on 1970s Hollywood punk rock by Geza X, Don Bolles and Dave Travis
• Deadbeats videos from the Dave Travis Punk Rock Archive
• Deadbeats and Bent media from the Catasonic archives

Come raise a glass, share a story, and send him off the way he lived: loud….

Thank You Dave Travis & David O. Jones
