Im „Jardin du Vaerne“ (Plugonvilen / Bretagne)

Es blüht ja nicht viel am Meer, aber diese kleine Garten-Oase beherbergt viele besondere Pflanzenarten.

Dieser prächtige botanische Garten, angelegt entlang eines Baches, wurde von dem unermüdlichen Gaby Quellec, einem Einheimischen, geschaffen. Das alte Waschhaus von Vaéré war unter einem Berg aus Erde und Pflanzenresten begraben. Im Jahr 2004 beschloss der ehemalige Bauer, die Ärmel hochzukrempeln, sein Werkzeug zur Hand zu nehmen und all seinen Mut zusammenzunehmen, um diesen Ort zu verwandeln.
