Protection is good,
Clearing is great,
Setting yourself up to not need them so much (without isolating!!!!) is where the real magic happens.

The truth is people are AMAZING and relationships are a need, so learning how to stay anchored in yourself WHILE attuned to someone else can radically change the quality of your life.

Did this resonate? by @ingeheals

I'm literally giddy with excitement to see who shows up for the next round.

The link is in my bio, or you can always start a conversation with me in the DMs.

You'll be learning Reiki. You'll be attuned, you'll give yourself reiki for 21 days and you'll give to others...

But even more than that:
You'll be practicing the energetic posture to be a powerful healer in the world.

Even when your cats are being obnoxious and robbing you of sleep. Even when a part of you is doubting if any of this is even real. Even when someone projects all their unhealed stuff onto you. Even when your kids are small and demanding.

Creating a sacred space can become muscle memory. And that's a gift wherever you use that skill.

Talk soon? 😘 by @ingeheals

Let’s celebrate the victories!!!
What are some of yours lately???

P.S. shoutout to @muaythaiwitch for the epic first meeting and to Davide @journeytoyourhearts_ whose training I’m really enjoying. I get to practice facilitating tomorrow! by @ingeheals

I’ve learned to love being wrong, to be told “no”.
Because what follows is often the truth we’ve been circling. The real block. The thing underneath the thing.

And as a recovering perfectionistic rejection sensitive people pleaser , this is EVERYTHING.

It leads to breakthroughs in sessions, to learning in students, but above all? It leads to a kind of intimacy I could only dream of before.

And if you want longevity as a healer, you need relationships in your life where you can NOT be the healer, where you can be the one being seen, and people around who you can just shoot the shit with.

Your humanity doesn’t get erased as you do this healing work. In fact it gets amplified.

And if you ask me, that’s one of the best things about it. by @ingeheals

Ok real talk tho -
The procrastination at the insurance claim wasn’t the block. The block was:
- being scared to admit “I don’t know how to do this”
- being scared to say: “I didn’t follow through”
- being scared to say: “I made a mistake”
- being scared to say: “I need help”
- being scared of being said “no” to
In other words: a wiring for hyperindependence that lived mainly in my solar plexus. And when this situation arose it was the perrrrfect opportunity to move through that, but first… It fought back with a truckload of shame, anxiety, negative self-talk and robbed me of joy for a while. But when I finally moved through it? And I was able to see that making that insurance claim for a trip I couldn’t take because of a *global pandemic* didn’t have anything to do with me “not following through” or “making a mistake” and that the worse thing that could happen is that they refuse the claim (which would give me the same result as not filing it), it actually healed me.

Do I still procrastinate things like this? Sometimes! But it doesn’t catch on that same block in the same way anymore.

Do you recognize yourself? A block you might have that’s showing up in an odd place?

And most of all… Can you see it now as an OPPORTUNITY to heal? 😘 by @ingeheals

The permutations are endlessssss. Which one are you?

The calm presence that helps them believe it’s safe enough to heal?

The wise mind who explains them to themselves in a way that makes self-judgment impossible from here on out?

The fire cracker who helps them admit to themselves they too are meant for MORE and ignites them to go after it too?

The intuitive who can remind them who they are within 2 minutes of meeting them?

All? Other?

It’s just so magical. by @ingeheals

And did I mention the best students ever show up???

(Like a real one. No bots or automations!) by @ingeheals

The way life sends you the exact experiences you need 😅.

Now… if this ever happens to you (and you can’t feel much at first), there are tons of things you can do:
1) backup and reconnect to the energy yourself
2) start by sending energy to their boundaries as if you’re letting a cute doggie sniff you and acclimate to you. Kind of like “Here’s this energy. Want to let it in?”
3) Name it. “I’m noticing the energy isn’t flowing… is there any part of you that might be hesitant in receiving it?”
4) Stay steady and available for what does want to flow (and spare yourself the death spiral).

Oh. And do another session after…
Because the session I had booked right after? Chattiest energy ever. I couldn’t stop receiving messages. It was the most intense contrast!

Tell me - what would you do if the energy wasn’t flowing?

Your game plan from here on out:
Ask this simple question:
What is this energy trying to do FOR me?
😘

& when you want to go deep into your journey as an energy healer? Come find me! by @ingeheals

You’d think I’d be feeling exuberant, delighted, celebratory. And I do. Sometimes.

But the deeper truth is that it feels kind of … weighty.
Like a sinking in feeling.
Like a tremor of responsibility landing.

In 2017, I decided to start teaching energy healing online. So that I could travel in the winters. So that I provide something goood for those willing to learn from me, and have time to think and teach the new things I’m learning while be fully PRESENT in my life.

This week I realized that I actually made twice as much money this year than I thought (and almost as much as I did when I was seeing tons of clients day in day out).

In 2020, we decided to start a family… and to do it like nobody we know. Both parents entrepreneurs. Traveling to Thailand every year. Possibly homeschooling.

This month we’re leaving for Thailand with our family of 4. This is our 8th time. The 6th time for our 5 year old. He’ll go to school there, and then we’ll be trying homeschooling until summer.

In 2023, we decided to fight fascism in the best way we knew how: by increasing the social fabric where we are.

This week, we’re getting TWO series of events set up at the community center that will keep enhancing the social fabric, even while we’re gone.

…and the weight?
It’s self-trust sinking in, I think.
But it’s also the sheer depth of care and determination to remember WHY we made all of these decisions. To remind myself not to be pulled astray by what these commitments demand of us, and to remember why we made them in the first place:

To be present, fallible, true, known parents for our children.

So today at dropping off our son, and getting 8000 kisses and I love yous from him, after the last days have been rough and I canceled a few things to be with him? Taking that in … that’s the truest signal of success and it feels big to take in.

Ok I’m full out sobbing now. Thanks for reading. by @ingeheals

The three questions are:

1) Could I let it go?
2) Would I let it go?
3) When?

3 minutes is short to teach a technique like this, but I know for some of you this will click right away…
And you’ll have a tool for life.

I teach this one in week 3 of the Healer: Awakened journey because it’s foundational to how energy healing works.

Blockages need to come to the light and to be loved into transformation, so it’s NORMAL that you’re going to hit a “no, I don’t wanna let go!!” At some point. That’s literally the work. It’s expected, and by no stretch of the imagination does it mean you’re doing it wrong.

DM me “Awakened” if this kind of approach to learning Reiki appeals to you. It’ll get the conversation started! by @ingeheals

Meditation helped me stay more anchored in myself and not disappear into others.

In particular: body scans.

I’d fall asleep, I’d feel pain, there’d be “dead zones” where I couldn’t feel anything, but then I’d be able to go social events without losing myself in them completely.

I was able to start changing the kind of events I attended. I was able to start designing them too.

… and now I genuinely love “peopling” most of the time. by @ingeheals
