⚽ SEPTEMBER FOOTBALL ⚽ A pinch and a punch and a double header to start the month...as both teams head out on the road this Saturday. The FIRST TEAM travel to Shap FC in another tricky looking Division Two clash. After a draw last week it's three unbeaten so far. However, the lads will want to go one better this week as they aim to return to The Yorkshire Dales with three hard earned points as they look to hit form in the early stages of the new season...which could prove vital come May! THE RESERVES have shown how to start a season with three wins from four propelling them to third in the table. Although early days, it's a thoroughly impressive start and Del and Jacko will be hoping their men continue this in away soil at Brough Football Club. The lads know they are in for a battle against an established Westmorland side but confidence is high in the camp and spirits are good...so let's hope they can add three more points to keep the good times rolling! All support, as always is greatly welcomed and with two sides out this Saturday, alongside the cricket team it's a real positive for Ingleton that sport is taking centre stage again! ⚪⚫ TWO GAME TUESDAY ⚫⚪ Both teams started their campaigns with wins last week and will be looking to build on their positive starts as they take to the road this Tuesday evening. The FIRST TEAM take on Endmoor KGR Reserves in their second game in the second division. After last week's glut of goals they will be hoping they can be a little tighter at the back in their search for back to back wins. THE RESERVES are also on the road travelling to the famous Iodine Park to face Millhead FC Reserves. The management were looking for a faster start this campaign and after last week's victory, another on the road would be a massive for this rapidly improving side. A few familiar faces missing but returning players and new personnel means there is plenty to be excited about at IFC...The fight is hotting up for those squad places! Go well tomorrow boys and please come and support either of the teams if you can. ⚫⚪ by @ingletonfc

Today we are kicking off our ‘Player Season Reviews’ which also gives us another chance to thank their sponsors for their support this season. We kick off with the man in the sticks: DODDERS: Tom Dodwell Sponsored by: Andrew Whaley Dry Stone Walling Contractor. TEL: 015242 42325 Contact Andrew for expert advice, fantastic service and a superb finish to all your walling needs! Dodders is our very own Adam Bogdan who has just completed his third season at the club. He has the often thankless task of playing in goals where mistakes can be heightened but Tom should take confidence from what has been a very solid season for a young lad who is still learning. His confidence is growing year on year and we sometimes now even get more than a ‘YUP’ out of the lad. Memorable moments include a big penalty save and some cracking reaction stops all season particularly down at Baildon which allowed us to maintain control of the game and grab a convincing result. That save was incredible!!! Although Tom doesn’t always get specific GK training he is one of the most regular trainers and that is a credit to the lad. If anyone next season is interested in running some GK training then I’m sure that would benefit all parties…get in touch! All in all a very positive season for our Dark Fruits drinking, No.1! ⚽️⚽️ Here we go…It’s GAME DAY⚽️⚽️ 🔵⚪️SILSDEN WHITESTAR FIRSTS⚪️🔵 Vs. ⚫️⚪️INGLETON FC⚪️⚫️ 🏆Skipton Body Repair Centre Craven & District Premier Division. 📆Saturday 4th March 2023 ⏰Kick off: 2pm 📍SILSDENS SPORTS CLUB: Keighley Road. Keighley. BD20 0EH In what could be our final fixture of the season; pending decision on our previously cancelled game at Trawden, we travel to Silsden to take on Whitestar who are aiming to be league champions come the end of the season. A highly competitive battle at home saw us come out and top and we expect the same level of competition today. The lads showed they are more than capable of mixing it with the top two in the division in the reverse fixture and should be chomping at the bit to go again today. Let’s have some support and end this season on the high the efforts from all at the club deserve. The lads have looked so at home in the Premier Division it’s easy to forget they only got promoted last year! With only 2 games remaining we tick off one of those tomorrow with a trip to Trawden… TRAWDEN CELTIC JUNIORS RESERVES Vs ⚪️⚫️INGLETON FC⚫️⚪️ 🏆 Skipton Body Repair Centre Craven & District Football League: Premier Division ⏰ 14:00 kick off 📍Recreation Ground, Keighley Road, TRAWDEN. BB8 8RR The lads are looking to build on last weeks superb team effort as they aim for another 3 points; this time on the road. With only two games remaining we are looking to end on a real high in what has been a hugely positive first season in the Premier Division. The squad proved last week that with hard work and togetherness this side is well amongst the best in the division and they should be looking to showcase that in the final two fixtures ready to really push on in next seasons campaign. All support welcomed and much appreciated. Let’s hope for better conditions than last season in the same fixture when it was absolutely Baltic!!!!! ⚽️⚫️⚪️⚽️⚫️⚪️⚽️⚫️⚪️⚽️⚫️⚪️⚽️⚫️⚪️⚽️ by @ingletonfc
