We are honored to have been part of the 5th @worldwaterfestival, taking place in Tokyo, Japan - with a global live-stream 🌊🌍

People from all around the world came together through this event, connecting through the water - with intentions of love, gratitude and peace.

We also gathered with the intention to contribute with the ‘Light of the North’ - sharing ceremony, song and prayers for the waters of this world 🤍💧✨

In deep gratitude to have shared this magical Equinox day and sacred space together, unified beyond physical distance, in a higher purpose of raising awareness and honoring the water that makes all of life possible.

The same water moves through all sentient beings.
Through our bodies, rivers, oceans, rain and tears.
May we remember its sacredness.
May we listen deeply and with care to restore our relationship with water,
And remember that we are a drop in the ocean - and the ocean in a drop.
We are made of water.
May we protect and honor the water within us and the waters of this Earth.

We had a picnicking by the beach at Lummelunda in Gotland Then we all dressed in @khadiandco and went down to the beach with @smn_phng who took out his camera and together we moved in the setting sun to create those images. It was all spontaneous but the clothes I had brought with me. So many beautiful images to share and difficult to make a choice but here are some.

Looking back at this beautiful gathering in June, just before the summer solstice, when I had the pleasure of joining the Opening Gathering hosted by @soulkin.gatherings

We spent the evening exploring Taoist practices, sharing meaningful conversations, moments of stillness, laughter, and the simple joy of being together. It was one of those rare evenings that leaves you feeling inspired, deeply grounded, and grateful for genuine human connection.

This was just the beginning, and I’m delighted to see more gatherings unfolding throughout the autumn.

I’m especially looking forward to experiencing Mantak Chia in Stockholm this October. At 82 years old, he is one of the world’s great grandmasters of Taoist wisdom, and this will be his final visit to Europe. It is a rare opportunity to learn from someone who has dedicated his life to preserving and sharing these timeless teachings.

I hope our paths will cross there.

This man is fantastic @happykenhonda he has the wisdom and the art of speaking and sharing about money which is totally unique and for once someone who resonates with my own energy about abundance! True Abundance! All those years when I’ve been working as a model I’ve been ( contrary to what people may think ) making “no money” that is…it was considered a privilege to work for magazines like Vogue and Harpers Bazaar but they didn’t pay the high wages. Catalogues did but I was way too short ( 1.69 ) to work for them and I would say also way to sensitive to be able to. I needed and I also got those special jobs where I could more or less sink into the personality. Into “the other” . The alter ego that I didn’t live in my private life where I was way more withdrawn and even shy. @happykenhonda saw something in me. He saw my abundance. My richness although I don’t have it in a bank account. He could see somehow that my gratitude to and the way I’ve moved through my life is truly Abundant.
I feel tremendously grateful to have been seen this way and to know that it’s true for real.

Thank you @swedishwealthinstitute and incredibly beautiful @yasuragisweden for this opportunity to get together with such amazing people and share so much love and wisdom in those amazing surroundings. Let’s get together again!

Immense great thank you gratitude to @budwheels_1 @theresebudwheels for the incredible support with all my moves lately! It’s been a big part of my last year however crazy that might seem. Things have been unfolding in a positive way though and when autumn comes I hope to show you my new creative space… exploring the artist in me again. Both some clothes and mainly other things…let’s see what shows up!

Immense thanks to Issa @budwheels_1 Jörg Mikael and Malin @telleby1969 and all other friends who have been part of these moves to happen so smoothly over time.

BlåHallen är bortskämda med att presentera levande legender här på Instagram.

Bess Nielsen @khadiandco @bess.nielsen på väg från Paris till Höganäs och med sig har hon vännen (också levande legend) Ingmari Lamy @ingmarilamy som beskriver Bess kollektioner så här:
”De hyllar både kropp och själ. De är som ett extra skyddande, själfullt och vackert plagg som förhöjer känslan av att vara buren.”

Det finns människor som går sin egen väg så länge att världen till slut hinner ikapp dem.
I mer än trettio år har Bess arbetat med det indiska textilhantverket khadi – handspunnen och handvävd bomull med en flera hundra år gammal tradition. Det som började med en resa till Indien blev ett livslångt samarbete med vävare, spinnare och hantverkare, och en övertygelse om att riktigt bra textilier måste få ta tid. Bess är en superkändis inom textilkretsar och har bl.a. samarbetat med trendgurun @lidewijedelkoort. Hennes kollektioner säljs världen över, bland annat i specialbutiker som Comme des Garçons.
Men oavsett var plaggen hamnar så börjar allt vid spinnrocken, vävstolen och människorna bakom hantverket. Mahatma Gandhi betraktade inte Khadi enbart som ett tyg, utan som en filosofi om ekonomiskt självberoende och enkelhet, samt som en symbol för Indiens enighet och frihet. Han beskrev det på ett välkänt sätt som ”solen i byns solsystem”.
För både Bess och Ingmari handlar textilier inte bara om färg och form, utan om kultur, kunskap och att bevara ett hantverk som gått i arv genom generationer.

Page 5 of 50…no I do not post one per day ( it just became tooo many old pictures while life is actually happening now but I might start a whole new account with all my old modelling photos! No promise! )

From my @elite_paris model book although this photoshoot was taken outside New York while I was there with @fordmodels for the @nytstyle. I’m sorry to not remember the photographer ( names fly ) but the models I’ll always remember Margit and Zolty @jz.sbh . It was a cover story which at that time was very prestigious even more so than @voguemagazine and @harpersbazaarus. I remember it was a windy day somewhere by the ocean. We stayed overnight at a hotel and spent time together. I even had a visit in my room and some amour proposition but that didn’t feel totally right in my heart body so we established a friendship.
The photoshoot had a feeling of intensity and warm connections between us three and when that happens it is quite rare and wonderful.
I can miss those times when being in front of the camera was also more like a movie set and beyond place and time.
Actually I’ve always loved modelling mainly because of the rare encounters and situations. Often rare locations as well.
It has fed my great curiosity and appetite for life.
Looking back I feel very much gratitude.

Page 4 of 50.
I know I said I would post one a day…shouldn’t have said that knowing myself and my flow…but this one was special because I really didn’t know for sure who the photographer was…and did some research. It turns out I’m almost sure now but he’s not with us any longer. It was Hans Feurer @hansfeurer and I remember coming to his studio in London which was also his home then where he lived with his wife Gunnel who was also a friend of mine back then early 70s. I remember being struck by the modern white simplicity of the home where I was invited spending the night in a very beautiful white room with almost nothing in it except a bed and a small white porcelain sink. It made an impression on me. My own home which was a rather spacious attic in Paris Marais then was partly decorated inspired by Carl Larson the famous Swedish painter and partly very earthly colours with a big living room decorated only with big raw silk pillows that could take the shape of the body…well I remember having a very good dinner there with Han’s and Gunilla and that I slept very well. I always loved all the pictures Hans did for @kenzo at the time. Kenzo being a good friend of mine and I did many of his shows but was never on any of the campaigns shot by Hans. So I felt very proud doing this photoshoot with him.
I have many good memories of all different occasions when we met during the years often at the many feasts at Kenzo’s home.

3 of 50…same photoshoot by David Bailey @bailey_studio @missoni for @vogueitalia ( don’t remember the year ) I ignorantly mostly never kept the whole magazine and didn’t think of it as being something precious for the future…wish I had…so if someone sees this and has a copy or knows the year I’d love to know.

So back to talking about attraction while working. It’s not the right word because it’s not about physical attraction but something that happens in the space in between…in between the photographer asking for a certain performance, the camera in between…and me as the model. It has to do with surrendering to being a part of the performance where I give of myself as best I can. And as best I can express myself.
It’s never and I say NEVER about the way I look because that very idea one can have if oneself in a mirror has nothing to do with being in front of a camera. If it’s a good photographer it’s all about surrendering to the moment itself!
That’s all I have for now…see you tomorrow.

2 of 50…again Milan and @ghoteletdemilan this time a smaller room but with a great bathroom again and a view. To sit by the window and read was an immediate wish but the photographer David Bailey @bailey_studio was also there. He from London me from Paris. We had worked a few times before and decided to go to dinner together. Again la Breha some pasta and wine. Italy delivers when it comes to those basics. Back at the hotel we had a drink of some sort I don’t remember and we talked about that we had never hit it off together although the attraction was big in front of the camera…but that’s another kind of attraction..,more about that follows…
