Marie-Thérèse grew up between Togo and Benin, within a family where multiple cultures, languages and histories come together.

On the first Sunday of every month, her family gathers to catch up, support one another and celebrate life. For her, these moments are a way of keeping a living connection between generations.

What has been passed down to her is a starting point, but it is not enough to define her. She describes herself as a blank canvas, full of possibilities: an image of openness, of what can still be discovered, added, and built. The influences that surround her therefore do not form a fixed identity; instead, they become a material in motion from which she continues to write her own journey.

Through this series of portraits, I am interested in what takes shape within these intersecting influences. Not in a fixed origin but in what it becomes as it passes through a person.

Between what is given to us and what we choose to make of it, what do we become ?

Through coastal landscapes, limestone formations, and details of the Mediterranean shoreline, this project explores the subtle traces of the environmental transformations shaping the archipelago of Malta: erosion, human pressure on ecosystems and increasing vulnerability to climate change.

I sought to visually convey the fragility and resilience of these island territories through a sensitive observation of matter, water and landscape.

« Blooming is Not Forgetting »

Vietnam is often reduced to a memory, and less frequently understood as a living continuity.

Some traces are not visible at first glance. They do not appear in monuments, nor are they inscribed in dates. Yet they persist in ways of being, of leaving, of returning, and of remembering.

In this series, red flowers emerge as resonances. They move through the image as memory moves across generations: fragmented, unpredictable, and persistent.

The red flowers become traces of what has been transmitted, suggesting a quiet form of growth rooted in the invisible.

They appear among horses, unfolding from fragmented narratives, restrained words, and lives shaped by history.

What grows doesn’t erase what came before.

Blooming is not forgetting.

I’ve always been fascinated by the way a photograph can reveal what words sometimes fail to express. The more I photograph, the more I realize that what draws me in isn’t the extraordinary, but the quiet moments: a glance, a ray of light, a presence, a simple everyday gesture. Behind every portrait, landscape, or scene of daily life lies a story. A story of identity, memory, culture, and above all humanity. My camera has become a way of connecting with people. To observe before understanding and to understand before telling a story. I’m not just trying to create beautiful images. I’m trying to capture those emotions and shared moments that remind us that, despite our differences, we are all connected by something universal. by @ingrid.sth

I met Khu the day before a hike, her baby gently nestled on her back a quiet reminder that life always moves forward, even through the rhythm of work.

In the mountains of Sapa, babies grow up to the steady cadence of their mothers footsteps. Carried on their backs as they work the land, they seem to learn from their earliest days that love and courage often walk hand in.
