3 videos and 2 photos from the show at Cobra Club with Bad Parking and Feral Teen. The A string broke just when I needed it the most so folks got treated to a quiet breathless outro to Poisonous Birds that'll never happen again. Thanks so much @badparkingmusic for inviting me to play. It was great to see the full band and great to see @feralteen after a long while of not seeing Feral Teen. Big thanks as always to @jake_and_the_nowhere & @popenqm for being the band twice in a row. This'll be it for shows until @theundergroundopenmic monthly showcase on November 10th, which will be a solo show. Details to come soon so stay tuned.

It’s autumn now which means it’s time for a fun show! We are going to play some VERY SICK music at the @cobraclubbk

Autumn queen @feralteen and harvest sprite @inhcmusic will be rocking the leaves off their branches alongside us. Come out and help us summon the cool weather together. Rituals work best with many hands. 🎃🍂🍁🥮 by @inhcmusic

The Underground Open Mic's 5 Year Anniversary Festival was joyful, incredible, powerful. Big thanks to my co-hosts @theroadtoruinmusic, @kheritage_, and @kathryngodoy; to my co-conspirators @jake_and_the_nowhere & @popenqm; and everyone who performed, helped, and came out. I've said it before, but this little thing I started with Miles & Colleen 5 years ago is the coolest thing I've ever been a part of. It's one of my top favorite things about the strange & sweet life I've had in New York City. I'm proud to share it with friends new, old, and haven't met yet. Thank you, stay true. Long live @theundergroundopenmic.

The next show will be THE UNDERGROUND OPEN MIC 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY FESTIVAL! We at @theundergroundopenmic wanted to do it big this year so we're taking over @rub_ulad on September 12th and putting on an all day multistage festival featuring an absolutely stacked lineup of some of our favorites from our past and present. This will most definitely be a band show, featuring @jake_and_the_nowhere on drums & @popenqm on bass as my co-conspirators. Rubulad was where Neither Are They (INHC Band) really took off as a regularly occurring thing and I'm excited to have atleast as much fun as I had during Gooberfest last summer. September 12th at Rubulad. Ask a punk, save the date, don't miss out. by @inhcmusic

The show at Stone Circle Theater was beautiful. Making it a band show rather than a solo show was definitely the right call. I really hope I get to play this space again. The sound was incredible. Honestly I'd love to play more spaces that aren't bars or other places where music has to compete with distractions. Big thanks (and congrats!) to @nathan_mattingly for inviting me to play his single release show and to @sweetbreadsmusic & @sophiastewartmusic for also playing and joining me on stage to sing Nathan's song together, and special thanks as always to my co-conspirators @jake_and_the_nowhere and @sunbeamcolleen for being my band for the evening. The next show is a big one: INHC Band's return to Rubulad for @theundergroundopenmic's anniversary festival. It's a fucking stacked bill, you don't want to miss it. Stay tuned.

Next show! INHC joins @nathan_mattingly, @sweetbreadsmusic, and @sophiastewartmusic at the @sctrpc for a night of great singer-songwriters. It'll likely be a solo set, but maybe we can make it special with a little something extra (whatever that means) [edited: this is now a band set, @jake_and_the_nowhere on drums/@sunbeamcolleen on bass]. August 12th in Ridgewood, Queens, New York! Tix are $20, but you can get it slightly cheaper if you get it online: https://theticketing.co/e/a5122 by @inhcmusic

Good times were had at @barfreda801 for @tjopresents (sorry you missed your birthday show because of a canceled flight TJ). It was a joy to see @skirtstagram after so long. It was great meeting @surfacesurfacesurface and @enoxon1 and getting to see them play. As always, it was fun as hell to play drums for @iammarsray. Thanks to @gothphiliproth on drums & @popenqm on bass for accompanying me. It was fun despite the string mishap, but what's an INHC show without something broken, right? 2 videos and 1 cool pic from this show. Next scheduled show is August 12! Details to follow.

Next show! INHC Band has been invited to play @tjopresents birthday once again. We'll be joining Surface, Eliza Noxon, @skirtstagram, and @iammarsray at @barfreda801 on July 9th. My co-conspirators for this show will be @popenqm on bass and @gothphiliproth on drums. Doors are @ 7pm, INHC goes on second, and I will also be playing drums for Mars Ray And The Raptures for their first show since their little live hiatus so stick around 'til the end for that! Pride For Punks kicked so much ass and was so fucking fun. It definitely got sloppy and noisy by the last song, Getting to see my songs interpreted through drag while performing live was really cool. Frontloading clips of two of the drag performances along with two other songs from the show. Thanks again to @zanaxdrag & @annejtifah for doing drag to my music (and to the other drag performers who did numbers with @thesatanmares and @les.poppyseeds), @neo.rugburn for inviting me to play, @kismithgallery for having us, and @gothphiliproth & @sunbeamcolleen for playing an INHC Tour Band reunion set. Next show is sooner than you think! Happy Pride everybody.

Next show will be loud and proud! On June 27th at Ki Smith Gallery in Chinatown, Manhattan, New York INHC Band joins @les.poppyseeds, @thesatanmares, and DJ Bitbad to make noise for pride, featuring an all-star lineup of drag artists: @annejtifah, @its_anomalee, @g0d.c0mplex, @leopard.killa, @stevie.dicksss, and @zanaxdrag! Proceeds from this show are going to New Alternatives, providing resources for LGBTQ+ youth. My Neither Are They co-conspirators for this show is a reunion of the Octourber lineup: @gothphiliproth on drums and @sunbeamcolleen on bass. We've missed playing together and I miss rocking out so this will be a sweet and fun way to round out Pride Month this year. This flyer is sick and this show will be too. See ya there! by @inhcmusic

From the archives: The first show of Octourber with INHC Touring Band. I'm still riding the high from getting to travel with my friends and play music together. 3 bits of relevant news related to posting this photo:

1) I'm in talks/putting out feelers for a shorter run of tour dates for later in the year. Likely solo (maybe with a band but possibly with a washboard). Hoping to hit up Boston, Philadelphia, Baltimore/DC, and possibly others for a 4-5 date tour. If you're interested in helping me make that happen, I'm interested in accepting your help with that.

2) I'll be putting in some studio time with Matt of @birds.on.the.ground revisiting some old songs this month. Whatever comes out of these sessions will likely be my next release. Matt will also likely be involved with that possible short tour I mentioned above.

3) A reunion of the tour lineup is upon us! The return of I'm Not Holden Caulfield & Neither Are They: Tour Band, with @gothphiliproth on drums and @sunbeamcolleen on bass, will be the next show, which will be detailed in the next post! by @inhcmusic
