This Mohawk beaded beauty arrived from @skarooreh yesterday! It was created in the 1940s-1960s. I am so excited to own it and will cherish as an incredible object of rich indigenous tradition and also a lovely artwork. Happy Valentine’s Day! 💕💕💕

I attended a wonderful experience blending art, science, and history at @evergreenmuseumandlibrary with @sarahkaizar and @b.ur.b. Sarah’s artwork ties to the birding interests of the previous owner of the historic mansion and their collections. We went on an owl prowl to examine the surrounding forest for owls. While we didn’t find any, I learned a lot about local owl species and we were rewarded with wine and cheese at the end. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing! by @inherellenment

Cooked up the pear shaped puffballs I found yesterday and hit them with mimita! Whew are they good! 🔥

Real caption… how do I relax after a board meeting? Apparently by cooking mushies, folding sweaters, and petting cats. 🐈‍⬛ 🐈 🤓 🍄‍🟫

Fall is here and so are my homemade manhattans. Tonight’s modification… cardamom bitters. So maybe it’s a Kerala Manhattan, since cardamom originates in South Asia and Kerala is currently the state that produces the most of this yummy spice. Cheers. 🍂 🍁 by @inherellenment

I think I can identify future friends by their crazy cat bumper bling. The “trash cat” sticker is priceless, and makes me a true patriot. Enjoy the bonus squirrel at the end.
