Throwing it back to Prague ✨🇨🇿
A place that’s been on my bucket list since I was 14 and somehow even more magical in real life. Wandering cobblestone streets, soaking up the history, and living out a long-held dream… absolute pinch-me moment 🥹

Where’s the place that’s been living rent-free on your bucket list? 🌍

Mum told me she still had a few boxes of my old books as a teen/YA. I thought we got rid of these books years ago! Anyway here is a shitty flatlay of some of them. Probably wont hold onto all of these as I don't have a lot of space on my shelves and honestly probably wont ever pick them back up.

This weekend is for decluttering. So I jumped on @borrowbox and the pick of the day was To Cage A Wild Bird. Honestly only 4 hours in and I'm really enjoying it. Not enjoying the cleaning and the constant thoughts of "why do we still have this?"
However I am proud I didn't get too distracted by stuff and actually got a fair bit done!

What are you doing this weekend?

Proof that my digital library and TBR pile are at constant war! 📱📚

Realizing so many of my favourite reads this year were audiobooks or e-books... but for the ones I did manage to get on my shelves, here are a few of my favorites of the year so far!

Extra love for the Aussie authors featured here! 🇦🇺✨ Nothing better than finding incredible talent close to home.

Seeing as its spooky season here is a book review on a book about the spooky things!

On Monsters was a super fascinating deep dive into why humanity is so obsessed with creating and fearing monsters. The book seamlessly blends philosophy, bioethics, religion, and pop culture to show what our fears actually say about us. It definitely leaves you with a much richer understanding of why we’re both terrified of and endlessly fascinated by, the things that go bump in the night!

I read this a fair while ago but it is one of those books I'll continue to recommend to people.

Took on a mini DIY project! 📚✨ It’s not 100% perfect (note to self: check reviews next time 😂), but I think it’s pretty darn cute!

Some books I picked up from the opshops today. These may or may not be because I liked the covers 🫠

Autumns favourite spot is on top of my reading chair.
I think she judges the books I'm reading.

Even if I'm not curled up reading she will be soaking up the sun.

So it’s actually been a while since I’ve posted a review. So here is one from on of my recent reads.

I actually enjoyed this one much more than I thought I would. It was incredibly fast-pasted, packed with some twist and turns. Pretty much kept me hooked from start to finish. The book does a brilliant job shining light on some deeply unsettling, real-world issues, particularly radicalisation, misogyny and systemic corruption. It’s a bit eerie and chilling how plausible this book is with today’s current online culture.

Have you read this yet?

Weekend read.

Well reading when I can between house work. Honestly it's never ending 😭. Also why do I have so much washing I have a uniform for work I shouldn't be going through that many clothes!

Attempting to be creative instead of just holding the book like a normal person... and yeah, safe to say studio photography is not in my future.

Doesn't help that by the time I knock off work, my house gets about as much natural light as a basement. So please, ignore my sad lighting attempts and enjoy the random cluster of stickers in the background featuring my current read!

Does anyone else’s house immediately turn pitch black the second you actually have time to take a picture?
