She was 18 months old.

Aizal died in Karachi after being sexually assaulted by a relative, someone her family trusted enough to let take her out for treats. She was rushed to JPMC, where doctors confirmed the assault. She did not survive.

An FIR has been filed under Section 302 PPC. The suspect was arrested while trying to flee.

An arrest is not justice. It is only a beginning, one this country has abandoned before.

How many more children must we bury before trust stops being used as a weapon against them?
