Something inspiring about painting in a place that’s falling apart—then tattooing that same artwork right in front of it. Creation and decay, side by side. These spaces might be crumbling, but they’re full of history, energy, and inspiration.

Thank you so much to my friend @kvtepvrfait for enduring the cold and pain for this project. And thanks to @sir.swaygin for his videography skills. You guys rock!

🐙 The Japanese octopus trap is called a tako-tsubo (蛸壷), which translates to “octopus pot” or “octopus trap”. It gives its name to takotsubo cardiomyopathy, commonly known as broken-heart syndrome or stress cardiomyopathy.

I curated and painted a large mural production in my home town of Hutchinson Kansas this past weekend. It felt great to see all the flavors of graffiti, art and culture in rural Kansas.

Much love to everyone involved. There is a whole other big wall and lots of photos and videos to share. Stay tuned 📺

Final pass on this mostly healed Fox with Moths Tattoo. In this age of AI 🤖 I thought it would be cool to share some of my design process. I def used my iPad and a mix of reference material, but I made every choice, moved elements around and drew every piece of this design to custom fit her body, shape and the visual concept we were shooting for. I also make hundreds of choices during the tattoo process built on years of experience to make sure this piece will look dope and last in her skin for years.

If you like this piece give let me know in the comments and if you want a custom tattoo made with this much thought and care, message me anytime to book🖤

Always excited to do custom work on awesome clients! @cassieirenemcallister really connected with this design and mentioned it reminded her of a heroic female character in her favorite book series!

I’ve started breaking my color tattoos into 2 sessions. Today we laid down the foundation and got a great start. After she heals up, we will dive into the color work.

Meet Brady Scott @inkbybrady of Brady Creative LLC in Wichita, Kansas — a painter who waited twenty years to pick up a tattoo machine, and appreciates every client more because of it.

His work is illustrative and painterly: neo traditional and black and gray shaped by a background in murals and oil painting. Four years licensed, he’s focused on pushing his skills and blending fine art with skin — when he’s not tattooing, he’s painting walls.

In his words: “I waited 20 years to tattoo, and I appreciate every client and every piece because of it.”

Brady has completed Bloodborne Pathogens Training with Body Art Training Group, pairing a fine artist’s eye with safe, professional practice.

His safety tip is one you can steal today: keep a plastic container on your setup tray to hold needles while switching cartridges — everything stays clean and organized.

Started a full color, fully custom tattoo today for my friend @tigernurse2. He has been supporting my tattoo journey since my apprenticeship back in 2022. I definitely wanted to make this one shine. We got a great foundation and will work on the color at his next appointment.
