Hi my name is Chloe ✨ I specialize in creating natural brows. I’ve been tattooing brows for 9 years now. I own @daelascottsdale with my sister Haley in Scottsdale, AZ and it’s truly our dream come to life.

DAELA is a collective of master artists each specializing in one or a few services, and we pride ourselves on giving you natural results that enhance your unique beauty. Natural results are our PASSION. We are a full service cosmetic tattoo studio offering brows, lips, liner, scar camouflage, areola restoration, stretch mark camouflage, faux freckles, brow lam and lash lifts! And shhh 🤫 so many more exciting services in the works. Like I’m talking game changersss.

Haley and I pride ourselves on being a small family owned, women owned and women run business. Fun fact, the @daelaportland location is family and women owned as well! Our space is truly a real life manifestation of what is inside of our brains, and sis and I put our whole hearts into it.

If I were to label this chapter in our book, it would be called the building stage. Our amazing artists are hand picked by Haley and I, but just as importantly our artists also choose us. When building our artist team we want the stars to align for both parties so that it is a harmonious blend. The talent must be there, that is a given, but we also seek artists who truly care and put customer service first.

The artists that join our team are already talented, badass artists who are tired of doing it all on their own, and are looking to make a strategic move for their long term careers. They know that when they join our team they are supported like no other place in the beauty industry and they are investing in freedom for their future. Haley and I are passionate about where our careers have taken us in regards to creating amazing opportunities for creatives. Cheers to building our DAELA family 🥂✨

Out with the grey, in with the NANO ✨

Before I made the switch to nano I microbladed her brows. They were great for a while but as you can see they have aged into a grayish tone and more blurred due to her not being an ideal candidate for the technique. It’s all I offered back then and all I knew. I couldn’t be happier to have evolved my career into nano and machine work, allowing me to cater to all skin types.

I’m also grateful for my client here trusting me and allowing us to remove her previous pigment and start fresh with a clean canvas. We were both thrilled with her new brows! Fluffy dream brows ☁️ She said it felt like nothing. Prepare to be laying down for a while though. This single needle technique is worth it but a bit tedious. Get cozy, feel free to bring a blanket and earbuds (the small ones). My clients often fall asleep or feel very relaxed afterwards!

Full brows need love too. For her, her brows started a little too abruptly and further out. Bringing them in just a bit and creating a softer, more gradual shape in front changes everything. One also sat higher than the other. With small tweaks to her shape we were able to create balance and symmetry.

Right now I’m booking the end of Nov and December. Make sure to book your holiday brows asap! ✨

Brow Restoration - Technique is Nano Machine Brows with soft shading. Thank you so much for trusting me beautiful!

This is all about creating a shape that feels more balanced for her. She is clearly stunning before and after, but she fills her brow in every day. She may still need to enhance more with makeup when she wants it to be a seamless fill, but how much easier will it be with a perfectly designed shape already there for her.

The challenge here was her right brow being extremely full. We chatted about expectations and how tattoo can never replicate that type of 3D fullness. She was so chill and got it completely. Consulting in any brow appointment is the most important part.

I still went through her right brow but ever so lightly. We needed to adjust shape slightly and I mainly focused in those areas. I spent most of the time on her left brow and she actually took the pigment really well. Working over remodeled skin is very unique to the client, it can be thin due to it being stretched, density can vary every square millimeter and the skin isn’t usually level so I worked slow and stopped once the skin became irritated. I got a light dusting of shading in but we will see how she heals and build up more at the touchup.

I want to thank her for giving me this pleasure and allowing me to share so others can see what is possible. Thank you 🤍

Let this ease your anxiety. My new clients have been coming in more fearful than ever lately. Even though they follow me and see my work, they are still so anxious about the outcome. Why? Because everyone has seen what a poor outcome can look like by now.

Just like any industry there is a variety of experience, technique, and outcomes. We can always easily spot poor work but we often don’t notice the good work, intentionally so. So it’s hard as a potential client. It seems like every artist claims they are the best or they have their own trademark technique or whatever. All I’ll say about that is it makes your choices hard. What I can do as an artist is show you as many examples of my work as possible and give you some comfort in how your brows will actually look in the long run. The number one fear my clients express is that it will look like too much, too big, too dark. My hand is light and my technique makes it impossible to give you a really bold brow, especially with Nano. Please keep in mind that every client heals and ages pigment differently. Every canvas is unique, never the same. These brows are nearly 100% tattoo, built up with a single nano needle. The pigment becomes a part of your skin and a part of any texture or grooves. These will heal soft and airy, the closest replication of real hair. This style is not meant to replicate makeup, but to do its best job in restoring and enhancing the natural brow.
