This is one of my favorite Pokemon binders I’ve tattooed so far. It’s weird how bittersweet selling your art can feel, you spend hours or days working on something and then it’s just instantly gone. 10 hours seems crazy for a binder, but using a tattoo machine is like drawing with a toothpick that has to be dipped in ink every 5 seconds 😅 I also always try to make sure everything comes out the absolute best I can make it. I wished I could have kept this one, but at least it went to someone that will put it to good use! Maybe one day I’ll have a custom design on my personal binder 😆

I had some tough changes with work on Christmas of last year and was in a difficult place mentally for a while. I got my childhood collection back recently so my brother and I sat down for hours and went through the whole thing. I was instantly hooked back in. I started finding channels like Beard dad, Coop, and Christian which made me want to go to start going to shows and be part of the community. I’ve met a ton of amazing people, a lot of which are now great friends of mine. They convinced me to start bringing my binders to conventions and now I wind up vending cards and binders almost every single weekend. Would you use a tattooed solo leveling wallet? I was showing someone my okarun wallet and he said “if you tattoo the temple lord from solo leveling on a wallet, I’ll buy it right now.” Solo leveling is one of my favorite anime so of course I had to do it. I love tattooing custom designs on wallets because it’s something that gets carried around and used daily. I get a lot of people asking why I don't just use markers for my binders. I can't get the same detail or saturation using markers. These vault x binders have an interesting texture and absorb a lot of ink, I usually have to go over each spot multiple times to fully saturate the color. When I use the markers I have to go over it 5 or 6 times to get it saturated and it still never gives me the same pop as the tattoo. Some of these custom pokemon binders come out looking like they're glowing. What do you think? I had a lot of fun tattooing this custom umbreon design for this binder. Looking back at the footage it took me somewhere around 10 hours to tattoo not including the design process.
