Antithesis in Black
.
Designed as a dark counterpart to the linework angel tattoo on his other arm.

Where one was built from lines, this one was built from solid black and negative space.

Something changed for me while working on this piece in Austin.

It felt like a wall I'd been struggling against for a long time had finally come down.

Thank you for taking me to the next level, Logan.

I was actually planning to save this one for a little later.

But you guys showed it so much love on my stories, I figured I'd better trust the algorithm and post it sooner than planned. 😂

I've wanted to tattoo Maomao for SO, SO long.

You have no idea how excited I was when Danny asked me to do her.

I really, really wanted to make this one special.

I just hope my version of Maomao looks as beautiful to you guys as she does to me.

Thank you so much for all the love! 💚

When I made this design as a cover piece for my Austin schedule, Yerim was sitting next to me saying it looked way too otaku.

I wanted someone to pick it, too, but honestly, I wasn't expecting much.

But Neith chose it, and we got to bring it to life together.
I'm really happy I got to tattoo this bunny here in Austin.

.

Goodbye, Austin👋
Thanks for embracing both the fragments of my old feelings and all my unapologetically nerdy stuff.

See you next time!
