The day started with a police escort, and ended with a medical escort! New York’s finest definitely showed up 🗽🏙️. It was such a surreal experience to run in the city I grew up in, with all of New York coming together. Even when I fell at mile 22, other runners came to help and having my HS crew, husband, family, and friends cheering me on throughout the race was so special. What a way to celebrate 10 years cancer free and going off meds! Nothing keeps me down, just keep moving forward 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️ @ashpryor_thatsme @vi_chelles @drelizabethcomen @poynorhealth @dramycomander @kristyangelabrown @drteplinsky @dr_bridget @ellentelzer @dkmil @ibcline @embklyn_dc @kedomaco @sandro_nyc BRAVO! #tcsnycmarathon by @inkindspace

Wow what an end to 2024 I had. I made sure to keep with that challenge of #3for31 no matter where I was. Traveling to different parts of the world with my Mom, friends and family was magical! Our family had a huge loss in 2024 with the death of my aunt. She was a force of nature and a true New Yorker. She lived to travel and would have loved the end of my 2024 and greetings to 2025. Embrace those you love, do something for yourself and remember even a 5 minute walk around the block is a good for the body, mind and soul. Happy 2025 to all.

Nothing like a little tread bootcamp before the adventure with my Mom. 🙏 @andyspeer for the 30 min keeping me on schedule for the #3for31 even with a 14 hr plane ride ahead. Getting it done!

What a Sunday! First there were 5 and then there were two doing the #nycrunsbrooklynhalfmarathon ! It started out great but a bit of nerves not thinking the bathroom lines would ever end! 😱🥵Thank you to my running mate and for our amazing supporters @ibcline @dkmil Emily so many spots & @sandra22moreno. I think Alex did more steps and appeared at so many different spots.
It was a tough one! A lot of hills and got very warm but knocked 10 min off the last one! #running #training #lifestylemedicine #cancersurvivor #breastcancer @leannehainsby @kristinmcgee @donnafarizan @dramycomander @kristyangelabrown by @inkindspace
