𝑨𝑽𝑨𝑰𝑳𝑨𝑩𝑳𝑬 🌹 WROUGHT WEEDS
A new series! Ft. calla lilly
Book this flash via link in bio

From wrought iron gates in San Francisco fused with weeds found around our area, a new series has come forth: WROUGHT IRON WEEDS. Honestly I was shocked to see how many beautiful flowers I adore in the bay area are actually WEEDS?! Who knew, so pretty & definitely not endemic to our area.

This is gate is fused with a calla lily, a very common occurrence and elegant floral staple. This ornamental plant is dispersed by bird poops 💩 making it a very widespread and aggressive invader in riparian areas & pastureland. A beauty to a nuisance, le sigh.

𝑻𝑨𝑲𝑬𝑵 🥀 WROUGHT WEEDS ft. A pricklyburr
All available flash located @inklore_flash

From wrought iron gates in San Francisco fused with weeds found around our area, a new series has come forth: WROUGHT IRON WEEDS.

This is gate is fused with a pricklyburr aka Datura inoxia. I truly love these flowers that resemble little fairy hats or bursts of moonlight. These however are native to mexico & central america spread also via seeds and dispersed through the smallest insects 🐜 to the largest via animal fur and water. Magical yet prickly and invasive, still something that blooms from a dream! 💭 🌙

𝑨𝑽𝑨𝑰𝑳𝑨𝑩𝑳𝑬 🌹 WROUGHT WEEDS
A new series! Ft. a twisted Cinquefoil
Book this flash via link in bio

From my captured images of wrought iron gates in San Francisco fused with weeds found around our area, a new series has come forth: WROUGHT IRON WEEDS. Honestly I was shocked to see how many beautiful flowers I adore in the bay area are actually WEEDS?! Who knew, so pretty & definitely not endemic to our area. This is gate is fused with a Sulphur Cinquefoil aka Pintentilla recta. This is a noxious weed with an incredibly high germination rate with tannins that make it inedible to livestock. Truly one of my favorite flowers both resilient and spreads like baby rabbits 🐇 🐇 🐇 ❤️‍🔥
