Cozy season is well and truly upon us! The mermaid painting is from @himepaints I’m trying to recreate it (haven’t succeeded yet) but here’s some pictures of what I’ve been upto trying to get on with my painting and drawing journey with my dog sidekick 🐾 #cozyhomedecor #artist #labstagram #fallweather🍁 #fallvibes by @inky.paws.studio

Life lately! Yes yes I’ll admit there’s not so much art in there as I’d like but I’m trying to cram in as much summer as I can 🤷‍♀️🌞 #summertime #stirfryveggies #nutricionista #hydrangeaseason #lakelife by @inky.paws.studio

Please bear with me while I post copious amount of pictures (artsy pictures ?) of glittering clear waters from my recent trip! Swipe to see the poor thing that got too exhausted fetching sticks and balls from the lake! #lakemichiganlove #retreiver #photography #dogsofinstagram by @inky.paws.studio

An ode to summer.. I always get jittery in August reminds me of school starting and I can taste the bitter feeling of summer ending, I hope for a fresher perspective this time round (though I’m always quite set in my way of thinking) 💭 #summer #farmersmarket #gardening #happiness by @inky.paws.studio

A recap of the most magical art filled sweet trip to the big 🍎 the @metmuseum is always a place of peace and wonder for me! Special thing this time was my visit to @sohoartmaterials which was a lovely store (arguably the best art supply store I’ve been to in the US) Also my first time visiting @akshardhamusa which was incredibly ornate! I love pretending I’m a local during my visit to the @unsqgreenmarket taken in The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York by @inky.paws.studio

Had the loveliest time exploring art museums recently and some farmers markets! I’ve never really cared much about paintings until I actually started oil painting and now I can’t go back to how it was! I’m obsessed with the skill and time these mortals put into their work 🙌 by @inky.paws.studio

This incredible view is what I’m lucky 🍀to have as my daily journalling setup! I love this beautiful portrait of Mrs. JP Morgan by Sargent at the incredible @themorganlibrary in NYC. The rest are beautiful views from my walk yesterday evening, I really like looking at (million dollar) cozy cottages with amber lamps lit behind bay windows 🏡 by @inky.paws.studio
