I’ll take a plot twist and a cocktail, please! 🍸📖

For the past two years, I’ve been continuing my education, which meant putting reading for pleasure on the back burner. But now that I’ve come out one degree hotter (technically two, if we’re counting the associate’s 😉), it’s time to celebrate! 🥂

With school behind me, I’m finally finding my way back to reading for the simple joy of it. And what better way to celebrate?

Currently reading an ARC of The Huntress and the Crow by Amy DeBellis. 🗡️🖤. Comment what your current read is!

See you in the next chapter. 🔖

🕯️📖 I’m about three-quarters of the way through The Knight and the Moth, and I thought I’d share a few quotes that might entice you to step into the Stonewater Kingdom, too. 🤍

There’s something about a beautifully crafted fantasy where the romance weaves its way through the story rather than taking center stage. The worldbuilding, the mystery, the characters… and a little yearning along the way.

Are you a romance reader? If so, what is your favorite trope(s)?

No shelf-control… 📚

So many books, so little time. ⏰💔 And somehow, the list just keeps getting longer.

I add books MUCH faster than I can read them..

What’s at the top of your TBR?

🪞✨ The Mirror of Infinite Endings transported me back to the cozy Hollow, and it felt like coming home.

I never thought we’d get more of Jacks and Eva’s story, so when I heard Stephanie Garber was releasing a novella, I was over the moon!

I’ve always been fascinated by the idea of alternate realities and the paths not taken. The lingering question of “In another life, would things have turned out differently?” is something I often find myself thinking about. This novella explored that idea so beautifully, and I loved every bit of it.

The magic, the nostalgia, and the chance to revisit characters I adore made this such a special read. It was everything I could have hoped for. ✨

5 ⭐️ for the entire series. Forever one of my favorites.

👑 Dagger crown: The Bookish Box

🕯️ Love Potion candle: Francesca’s

🔮 Crystals: From my personal collection

QOTD: If you could glimpse an alternate version of your life, would you want to? 🪞

🧡🍂 What’s your preferred way to read?

I used to be strictly a physical-book kind of gal, but my Kindle Paperwhite has completely changed that! 📖

The funny thing is, I’ll sometimes read a book on my Kindle, fall in love with it, and then buy the physical edition just to have it on my shelf. Surely I’m not the only one who does this? 😅

Are you team physical books, e-books, or a little bit of both?

🥀🕯️🍂 Fall has always been my favorite season. There’s just something about the cozy atmosphere and crisp air that makes curling up with a gothic or spooky read feel even more magical. 🖤

Rachel Gillig’s One Dark Window and Two Twisted Crowns immediately come to mind when I think of the perfect Fall reads. The dark atmosphere, intriguing characters, and intricately woven story had me hooked from beginning to end.

If you haven’t already, consider this your sign to pick up One Dark Window! And the best part? Two Twisted Crowns was just as good, if not better. It tied everything together so beautifully and left me feeling completely satisfied with how the story ended.

I’m currently reading The Knight and the Moth by the same author, and I’m excited to see if it captures that aesthetic. ✨
