🇨🇦 Athabasca Glacier, Canada

Traveled 4,700 miles to see the Canadian rockies and of course I had to catch a ride to the Athabasca Glacier in an ice explorer. Fun stuff!

I’ve never been to a glacier before so this was a pretty cool experience. If given the chance to visit again, though, I’d really love to trek the Columbia Icefield to the Athabasca Glacier and explore by foot.

🇦🇹 Hallstatt, Austria

Last September, I traveled to Austria for my first-ever solo trip and I must say, it was one of the best impulse decisions I have ever made. Both daunting and exhilarating.

The first day was extremely difficult as it felt very lonely and boring. Until I realized that solo travel shouldnt be like that – I was most likely doing it incorrectly. Solo traveling is all about being comfortable with feeling uncomfortable. This could mean having to spark a conversation with another traveler on the train, sitting at the park alone with your sandwich, or even asking a stranger to take a photo of you.
