What is Versa-Style Next Generation?

Versa-Style Next Generation (VSNG) is a pre-professional training program that brings together dedicated young dancers from across the Los Angeles area to develop their artistry, technique, and leadership through authentic Hip Hop and Street Dance education.

Interested in joining?
Come audition on Sunday, August 9th for the opportunity to be a part of our 2026-2027 street dance program! This program provides training in Hip-Hop, House, Locking, Popping, and other street dance styles, while also sharing the history and cultural foundations of each dance form.

Check-in: 10:30am
Time: 11:00am-2:00pm
Location: @livartdancestudio
Intensive/Audition Fee: $20!

That’s a wrap for VSNG 2025–2026! ❤️
This past Sunday, we celebrated our VSNG members who show up every Sunday to train, create, and grow. Our culmination was a celebration of all the technique, creativity, and tools they developed throughout the year.

After 20 incredible years, the UCLA Hip Hop Street Dance Intensive is taking its final bow!

This program provided a home for young dancers, elevated Hip Hop and street dance within one of the world’s leading universities, and helped shape generations of artists, educators, and community leaders.

To every student, counselor, teaching artist, faculty member, volunteer, parent, and supporter—thank you!

We’re also deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to our scholarship fund over the years. Many of our students would not have been able to attend without your generosity. Your support opened doors and created opportunities that had a lasting impact.
