𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗞 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗗𝗢𝗪𝗡: 𝗡𝗢 𝗝𝗢𝗞𝗘 🃏

𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶ū joins Inner Mind Records with 𝗡𝗼 𝗝𝗼𝗸𝗲, a focused minimal house record built on simplicity, movement and purpose.

“No Joke started from an old vocal idea from a previous AGLF project, which I decided to revisit and rework into my current sound direction. The goal was to take something from the past and give it a more modern and personal identity.

The track is built around a 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝘀𝘆𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 that runs throughout the entire arrangement, acting as the main element and giving the record its identity. Around it, I kept the production minimal, focusing on simple but effective grooves and a tight, driving bassline.

The approach was to keep everything 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 for the club, letting the main elements breathe and carry the energy of the track.”

𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗞 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗗𝗢𝗪𝗡: 𝗕𝗨𝗕𝗕𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗨𝗠 🍬

As a young Australian artist making his mark on the underground scene, 𝗥𝗢𝗠𝗭𝗔 delivers a playful yet weighty record designed strictly for the house heads.

“My favourite records I’ve produced have been done spontaneously… Bubblegum is one of them.

I started the idea on a plane on my way to Thailand. When starting, I had no real direction for where I wanted to take the vocals, but I knew the beat had to have some sort of filth to it.

The first thing I wrote was the bassline around the hook vocal, as I felt that was the real staple point of the record. After adding the drums, I introduced some swing, which is what gives the track its groove.

The 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗼 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹, and I think that’s what sets this track apart from others.”

Marking the first release under the alias, “Beat It Up” channels 𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗴𝗵𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲, a 𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹 designed to shake rooms and move bodies.

$NEEZE is no stranger to doing things on his own terms, building his foundation independently, refining his sound and releasing music without compromise. Now with his sights set on 2026, he’s shifting gears and going all in to deliver 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱-𝗵𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 and make his mark on the Australian scene and beyond.

“This one came together pretty naturally. I made most of it in a single sitting and was instantly stoked with how it sounded. It had that energy where I could already picture it being played in a club, which is always a good sign.

The only thing missing was the right vocal, and that part took way longer than expected. I went through heaps of options but nothing really clicked.

After what felt like forever, I came across Paige Steele’s vocal packs on Bandcamp. As soon as I heard this sample, I knew it was the one. It tied everything together and gave the track that final bit of identity it needed.”
