When all is said and done.

Took some videos of this absolutely gorgeous girl I met on a random beach on Skopelos. I can’t remember her name or if we exchanged details, but it’s so beautiful to have these moments and memories with her.

When all is said and done, we remember the good moments. Sometimes the moments that were massive, so big we could never forget them. Sometimes so small someone else might pass them by and purge with them but it held onto being remembered by you and only you. An award, the sparkles on the ocean, meeting a perfect stranger on a random beach and doing a little shoot, laughter, tears, and everything in between.

In a world full of beauty, but also pain, suffering, disappointments, discomfort (whilst all come with lessons and reasons), remembering these moments brings me a sense of peace. A sense of hope. Life.

So when all is said and done…

Story time…

So we drive down hoping to catch the sunset on top of Bluff Knoll and we were super excited because it looked like suck a beautiful day for it.

A couple of clouds in the sky, otherwise clear, nice warm but not too hot day, perfect good sunset conditions.

But our downfall… none of us checked the time. So by the time we got there it was 30 mins to sunset. Which is not how long it takes to get to the top of Bluff. So we watched it along the way.

Who knows if the summit was actually reached because it was so dark at that point we couldn’t see where we were.

Oh and thank goodness for phone lights other wise we would have also been screwed😂

Falling like sand…

I question my ability to hold onto things.
Relationships, people,
myself
I often feel like sand.
Running through the hands of those who try to hold me.
Slipping through their fingers.
But maybe instead of sand,
I am more like a butterfly in their grasp.
With delicate wings,
And instead of falling from the grip of those who hold me,
I am floating above those
Who are not gentle enough
